Involving the rules of opposites and projection, the libs in their fantasies that they are intellectual ooze that same old pattern, haters calling people they hate haters.

In this instance, they declare emotional spasm as logic and science.

Charo identified a common thread running through the concerns of all the participants: the dilemma of basing policy on “truth,” when politicians can manipulate the concept into something that no longer resembles the truth of scientists. “Scientists talk in terms of hypotheses and probabilities,” she pointed out, whereas “politics and law tends to move on the assumption that the case is ‘X’ and we need to base a policy on it.” But troubles arise over who gets to own that truth, she said. In light of the inherent uncertainly of science, she explained, the United States has seen the difference in the treatment of truth used to delay necessary policies, as in the case of global warming. She also pointed to political manipulations of truth that have been used to “justify absolute falsehoods” as in the case of the Terri Schiavo controversy and battles over reproductive rights. She added that “nationally, we’ve seen it blurring the definition of science in the continued attempts to introduce creationism and so-called ‘Intelligent Design’ into the school system.”....

This time, I place the blame for the multiple posts squarely on the WildBlue satellite system. In inclement weather like this morning, my posts hang and I get an indication the data never uploaded. If I leave it alone, it may just sit there forever, blocking all my progress. Then when it finally goes through, it does so in repeats. It is agonizingly slow, and inferior to simple dial up in these circumstances.

Wagglebee has a separate thread on the article by Bobby Schindler today.

June 16, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Recently, yet another situation similar to that of my sister Terri Schiavo has made headlines. In West Palm Beach, Florida, Raymond Weber is asking the court to dehydrate his disabled wife, Karen, to death.

If you have read any of the reports in mainstream media, it’s just another case of a husband looking out for the “best interest” of his spouse. And just as in Terri’s case, Raymond Weber is asking the government to deliberately kill his wife who is not dying and is guilty of nothing more than having difficulty swallowing and therefore needing help, in the form of a feeding tube, to eat...

Those who drool over the thrill of coaxing others into suicide never want to try it for themselves first. Thread by wagglebee on Washington State flirting with the Oregon legal murder clause.

Olympia, WA (LifeNews.com) -- The Initiative 1000 measure that would make Washington the second state, following Oregon, to legalize assisted suicide, is drawing expected opposition from pro-life groups and medical professionals. But the son of the proposal's spokesman and disability groups are opposed as well.

Booth Gardner the millionaire former governor of the state, is the lead spokesman for the I-1000 assisted suicide proposal....

All white t-shirts by Wham and their dancers. CHOOSE LIFE. Greer would have killed Terri anyway. That's what killers do. Thank God he's doing civil lit now, not killing people for the Sixth Judicial Circus.

Wagglebee, I must say your post has me at a loss. My post corrected the falsehood that Wikipedia did not cover the Terri Schiavo story, and gave links to back that up. I thought perhaps the posters on this thread would be interested in them, as there is a voluminous amount of information there. I then briefly responded to a gratuitous insult, and that was the end of my post. Where in that you find "debate" or a "pro-death agenda" is beyond me.

I have been patient and I have been polite, but it is I who have been on the receiving end of the most personal attacks.. I believe your founder has something to say about that, also.

Best,
Etixos

Well, gee whiz, BB, it is simple as all get out. We are reaching the full moon and Summer Solstice is just about here. With, as I can imagine, ObamaNation casting its spell new agers and old agers and assorted and sundry critters will cavort. We have to be careful not to trip over them.

More stuff on the RINOvirus outbreak in Colorado in a thread by LesforLife.

A Colorado anti-abortion group that wasn't allowed to set up a display table at the state Republican convention blasted party chairman Dick Wadhams on Monday, saying he is trying to drag the party "to the left."

Colorado Right to Life President Joe Riccobono warned Republicans that by shunning their conservative base, they're headed for "another election catastrophe in November."....

I apologize if I misinterpreted what you said.

The FACT remains that while Wikipedia may be a good source of general information on centuries-old historical events, their coverage of contemporary events is decidedly leftist.

Ping to this prayer thread for our troops in danger.

Dear Family and Friends, I am writing to you today with a sense of urgency. I am asking that you pray for myself, my unit, and all coalition forces. Some of you may have heard through the news that the Taliban recently had a prison break in Kandahar City. Those reports are accurate.........

“RINOvirus outbreak” nails it, and if you don’t mind, I think I’ll steal that phrase from time to time.
