I got nothin’.
I swear I felt something about 1:30, but hey I’m originally from the PRK (from before it was the PRK). Hell, I even called the strength of that 4.5 we had here a few years back, a full half hour before they announced it. It’s weird having calibrated feet.
No, you have something. The fact you don’t know it indicates you have a life. :)
It’s obscure, although the song was pretty popular. But I’m guessing at least one freeper will come up with the answer in the next half hour or so.
Steely Dan, “My Old School”
Except the earthquake is in California.
“Cal-eee-forn-ya ... tumbles into the sea/ that’ll be the day I head back to Annandale”
My Old School — Steely Dan
Did I say in the next half hour? I meant “in the next 53 seconds!” Anyway, congratulations, So Cal Rocket. Pugachev, soooo close to being first.
Of course it might have been a horse farting.
Zippy Felt in Sterling as well.
I thought Hitlery was in Indiana today, but here she is stomping around and causing tremors in Virginia...
CC&E
CCE
My office is across the street from a construction site, so I probably dismissed this as equipment moving (makes my building vibrate). Would you consider this more or less noticeable than a steel beam being driven into the ground 60 yards away?
Tupelo just got a 3.1
They probably noticed.
The feel of an earthquake can vary tremendously. The ones we get here in the 3 range are like a truck hitting the building. In the 5 range there is shaking and rumbling for about five seconds.
