I think it’s as much psychological warfare as anything.

Yep. It's merely icing on the cake the Democrats baked for themselves. It keeps the pot stirred.

Now, time to get out of the kitchen...

If Mrs. Clinton wins the nomination, it isn't going to be my fault.

Oh yes it is.

I suppose it has nothing at all to do with the millions of people who have voted for her.

It’s a virtual lock that Obama will be the nominee and he will be seriously weakened due in part to Operation Chaos. Do you think this Wright crap would be getting all this press coverage if Clinton had already dropped out? Do you think this isn’t creating a huge wedge in the party grassroots and especially among the superdelegates?

Agreed. It doesn't matter whether it's Ears or Cackle. As long as BOTH of them are hopelessly weakened by Operation Chaos.

Very clever play on words. ;o)

Thanks! But I don't like it as well as the "ObamaTrauma" I coined this morning on the DUFunnies.

I would have preferred Fred Thompson as my candidate, but his heart wasn’t in it. McCain was never a choice for me, and I probably won’t vote for him in the fall. He’s done nothing to show me that he deserves my vote.

“Nothing can go wrong,” said Rush. “I’ve analyzed this from every angle.”

These were the approximate words that Rush said in the beginning days of Operation Chaos.

It’s done one other thing, too.
It’s making this dismal and irritating political season fun!

At least, it is for me.
I’m enjoying keeping the pot stirred!

This is the first time in 30 years Oregon’s vote has had any effect on the primary season.

Speaking of the kitchen...it’s time for me to get in mine.
I have to make supper! lol

I think Operation Chaos would only be successful if it ended up splintering the Democrat coalition. I don't see signs of that yet beyond blustering, except for some polls that say each candidate has about 20% who won't turn out for the other. It will come down to what Dean called the Healing Process that is supposed to begin in June when one drops out, if one drops out.

I don't think the Hillary supporters would be as bitter at losing as the Obama supporters will be. That's why the "risky scheme" is counting on super-delegates stealing the nomination from Obama and creating a permanent break for African-Americans and Democrats, which I think is a bridge too far.

Furthermore, I'm not as afraid of an Obama presidency as I am of a Clinton presidency, for two reasons:

1. Obama doesn't have an organization in place. He, and mostly his supporters, will quickly become disillusioned that the checks-and-balances in Washington stifle much of what they try to do, making 2012 an interesting re-election.

2. Clinton already has a shadow government in place and ready to hit the ground running on Jan 20, 2009. That scares me most of all. It will be like 2000-2008 never happened.

People were crossing over to vote in the Dem primaries...

Many for serious reasons. Mostly, they were infatuated with Obama. After 5 terms of Bushes and Clintons, I think even some Republicans have desired change. Of course, they didn't kick the tires before buying the clunker.

If Rush encourges us to vote for Obama now then the Dems will see that as even more reason to support Hillary.

The ship sailed 6 weeks ago.

You are sadly mistaken.

Operation Chaos was launched BECAUSE McCain is “too nice” to lay out the dirt on any of his friends, the Democrats. The only people who can dirty a Democrat is another Democrat, and that’s just what’s happened.

Both Clinton and Obama have been weakened in the eyes of the general electorate. Look at the Wright controversy and McCain’s reaction to it. No one can hold Obama accountable for listening to Wright for 20 years, but Hillary did, and so did her shills in the MSM. Without Hillary in the race, Obama would have skated on it.

Now, neither Hillary nor B. Hussein can win by their delegates, so it’s up to the superdelegates. And the Democrat party will tear itself apart over it.

It’s a beautiful sight to behold.

Now, if only we had a conservative Republican party instead of wishy-washy RINOS...
