I think this was a wise choice by the judge. It sets the precedence, as we agreed, to keep families together under circumstances like these. It is the vehement argument of the “anti-every Mormon” crowd that these people should not receive any judgment that might even be construed as favorable, regardless of what they say.
Yep. CPS should never be about punishing but protecting the child in the least traumatic way. If you put the kids with the parent (s) under supervision you are helping the family IMO.
Just for future reference, the answer is yes. Here is a copy of an arrest warrant for her. It details evidence that she is very likely to be "Sarah", including a statement by the affiant that apparently Swinton made statements in her later call to a Washington State abuse center that showed she had knowledge about the name of a person at the Texas abuse center which had not been made public. Her phones made many calls to the Texas center during the time in question also.
