Understood, thanks. I have a family member who is a teacher. Once I made the mistake of saying to her, in response to her complaints about the kids not listening, etc., “hey, you get paid whether they learn or not!”

I was trying to cheer her up, but obviously I don't have the temperament for teaching. She is one of those teachers who CARES whether the kids learn or not. too bad many others, including many parents, don't.

I would think that since the subject was the Revolutionary War and King George, the current queen would be irrelevant to the discussion.

Emphasizing class size over quality teachers increases NEA members employment and increases money to the NEA and political power to the NEA. Education is more or less irrelevant.

to be teaching right where i am. :)
