You're trying to win an argument where YOU get to choose all the questions by telling me what I will or will not say?
Good luck!
I believe the point of this email was more about the conditions within the compound; tunnels connecting the “dorms.” I don’t think he has even been to a quickie seminar yet. I certainly don’t think he presents himself as an authority ...nor has anybody else. There are none!
Immaterial. The 'guy' who set this place up wasn't 'here', and no one 'following his plans' has a single conviction, do they?

The warrants were valid. Period.
Questionable.
-----
Whether the case stands up in court will be another matter,
Agreed.
-----
but for now, theyre following the law (Texan and US).
No, they're following administrative statute.
-----
Im sure the ACLU is busily trying to find a way to free them so they can go back to their child molesting waysno doubt with NAMBLAs assistance (if they can include boys in the marriages).
While I appreciate your not outright calling me a derogatory name, I really don't appreciate the inference.

THIS is actually one of those times when state action was not only warranted, but necessary.
Let me ask you a simple question. No evasions, no trying to change the subject or telling me I'm 'wrong'.
Where does the legitimate authority exercised by government come from?
Madam, I don’t have to win any argument as I’m not in an argument. Under our form of government the federal gov’t has the right to estabish laws/rules/regs for federal governance and the various states have the right to do likewise for their state governance.
The people. You should know that. And as one of “the people” I agree with the state of Texas’ actions on this matter.
"All because the government wants to pretend they get to tell the People what to do." MamaTexan ... That is a typical mischaracterization libertarians and liberals try; the government is telling deviants and perverts what they CANNOT do to minor children, and in this case it takes investigation of the facts to discern just how perverse is this sect you're working so hard to defend. You're disgusting. Are you also a mormon?
I agree.
Are you also a mormon?
She apparently doesn' want to answer.
Is Ann Richards dead yet?
Agreed,GOVERNACE. But the People are not the government:
Since the union of the sovereignty with the government, constitutes a state of absolute power, or tyranny, over the people, every attempt to effect such an union is treason against the sovereignty, in the actors; and every extension of the administrative authority beyond its just constitutional limits, is absolutely an act of usurpation in the government, of that sovereignty, which the people have reserved to themselves.
NOTE B.
OF THE SEVERAL FORMS OF GOVERNMENT
PRELIMINARY REMARKS
SOVEREIGNTY
View of the Constitution of the United States
St. George Tucker, 1803
[The first legal treatise written concerning the US Constitution.]
A person who assists the government in controlling the People is committing Constitutional treason.

Do you know the difference between a state Citizen and a federal citizen?
"... a construction is to be avoided, if possible, that would render the law unconstitutional, or raise grave doubts thereabout. In view of these rules it is held that `citizen' means `citizen of the United States,' and not a person generally, nor citizen of a State ..."
U.S. Supreme Court in US v. Cruikshank, 92 US 542:
Of course I know it. Another question, if you would be so kind:
As one of the People, do you have the ability to go next door to your neighbors and tell them they MAY NOT ALLOW their 14 year old child to marry if they wish to do so?
----
[Pardon, but my reply to this question may have to come later. Hope you don't mind.]
And a marriage 'license' prevents these deviant and perverted acts from happening........ how?
Oops! I spoke too soon! She's back. (not Ann!)
These guys had a real good sex club going. Kicking out the young men and male teenagers so they have the young girls and women all to themselves. Polygamy is one thing but 50 year old guys boinking teenagers is another.
They set up a sex racket same as Mohammed’s sex racket. Brainwashing girls into thinking it was a honor to be the fifth wife of some old horn dog
You cannot be that stupid that you would believe your question is in any way cogent to the issues in this case.
Your thoughts are irrelevant. It is against the law and even Mormons obey it
Oops! I spoke too soon! She’s back. (not Ann!)
LOL...........
I saw no need to answer, but if it satisfies your idle curiosity, however, no I am not a Mormon.
The reason I saw no need to answer was that I was fairly certain I would not be believed.
MHGinTN has made it clear he/she believes me to be 'disgusting' so the accusation of 'liar!' can't be far behind.
Too bad the FACTS don't flow as freely.
-----
BTW, lonestar. It IS considered FReeper etiquette to PING someone when you are talking about them.
Not whisper behind their back like a nosy old neighbor.
Ah, so you evade the question.
Guess you want the right to go shooting someone as you see fit, is that correct?
LOL! I already have that ability, whether, under your definition, the 'right' exists or not.
For instance:
If, for whatever reason, I shot and killed someone, one of the two scenarios would happen:
There would be no charges because it was self-defense, thus, my judgment was RIGHT.
I would be on trial for murder, thus, my judgment was WRONG.
Pretty cool system, huh?
-----
BTW- Words on a piece of paper can't stop someone from shooting anyone, only their conscience does.
Not whisper behind their back like a nosy old neighbor.
She's moved from Constitutional lawyer to FR etiquette police.
