What has been interesting, is how people react to this story. For many people, this has triggered memories of inner hurts of Freeper's own personal lives.
This is interesting to watch....
And there are people who will and are defending their actions...
Your point?
Yours is the first post I have read that got it. (Or, got it the same as I got it, anyway.) We seem to forget the fiction invented by Hillary’s lackeys before the Waco invasion. We seem to forget the fiction that jailed Gerald Amirault, his mother and sister for 20 years. We seem to forget the fictions that convict men at workplaces every week today for some crime called “sexual harassment”. We seem to forget that the majority of accusations of pedeophilia against priests were fictions (i.e. the false accusers outnumbered the pedophile priests, get it? which leads one to ask, why did we miss the real scandal of opportunism, immorality, greed?)
Yep....I’m not saying there aren’t possible exaggerations, but there is already too much info that doesn’t sound good.
The reactions of many FReepers has absolutely horrified me. Defending and rationalizing the FDLS. Its been an eye openner.
Just yesterday there were those on FR who were saying that the girls were agreeing to it.
Fourteen year old girls are not of age to agree to anything like this.
Yep,
it’s not so much the story, but the posters on the threads for me. I’m positively ill at what I’m reading.
Dozens (per the affidavit) of pregnant 13 and 14 year olds are hard to ignore. In addition to the bigamy and welfare fraud, there are reports of genetic anomolies from generations of inbreeding.
However, I have learned from experience that most of what is reported on TV will end up being false.
Although I do not call myself LDS, I grew up with this religion. These people are not LDS, but the basics will be the same, since they originated from LDS.
When I read about a bed used to initiate newly married women, that gets me rather upset. Talk about something being very false!
According to some posters-—
a. Affidavits aren’t true.
b. God says it’s OK if they are.
Thanks!
LOL. I have a brother-in-law who would like to join your temple!
I’m not talking about LDS-— I’m talking about any group that sanctions rape of girls under the guise of marriage. Any group.
As far as the bed thing——
You know it’s false? Really?? (not saying it is or isn’t)
What if its true? And yes, I’ve read the interviews with the Branch Dividian kids (now adults) and what happened to them was true.
How much information has to come out before you believe?
That is a wonderful example of what I have been talking about.
That was written by someone that does not have a clue.
Are we talking about the same thing? I’m saying the wives were not being held by the Texas law enforcement personnel. The children were taken into custody, and the mothers were allowed to stay with the children as a courtesy. At least that’s what I’ve read.
Are you talking about that? If you’re saying the wives were not free to leave the FLDS compound, then I agree with that.
Some DNA evidence taken from the 400 children and compared with the DNA of the old men at the complex would provide all the supporting evidence necessary.
c. Biblical history is on their side.
Yep-—
If King David had 103 wives, so can I! (aren’t we at war with folks who think that way??)
