If the KLA really REALLY detested the Mujahideen you'd expect huge firefights, 100's of casualties.

...and upset their American and Saudi sponsors? That would have been a self-defeating move. You don't attack CIA allies when you're in the middle of a fight with others.

My point that the KLA had no time for the Mujahideen still stands though. The Mujahideen was forced upon them.
