Well then we won’t ever try that strategy in China. Thanks for the heads up!

Actually I believe that Rush’s Operation Chaos is designed to put Hillary into the White House instead of McCain.

Just think of it, Rush with eight more years of Clintonian rule, or Rush having to kowtow to McCain for eight years...

Which one makes better radio?

Just remember, your chances of ending up wearing canvas overalls and shucking corn for the state behind concertina wire listening to heroic readings of class struggle on tinny loudspeakers mounted on high intensity sodium light poles adjacent to guard towers increase greatly with Obama or Hillary in the White House than with McCain.

Ah, I can feel the rush of political enthusiasm surging through my pinched, sclerotic veins. Gotta git me a button -

I'll vote for McCain
If I have to
I guess

Don’t kid yourself. It’s exactly the same.

"How do we control McCain?"

Lash him down with chains, that what you do with loose cannons.

But I'm afraid there's not enough chain in North America to keep Mcloon from running to the far left every chance he gets.

I’ve been listening to Rush since 1989, and I don’t notice a difference except that he’s entertaining and agrees with me about %98.7 of the time.

"Which one makes better radio?"

Rush has addressed this several times. He says his audience size shows he doesn't need a dem in the White House to do well. The radio show is based on Rush and what he thinks. He also says that Operation Chaos is about winning. Weaken the dems so much by infighting that they lose.

As I've posted before, the "moderate republicans" said they didn't need my conservative vote. Ok, they aren't getting it.

As I've said, I'll vote for McRino, providing he doesn't piss me off too badly between now and November (I sure as hell won't be sending any money his way). But I won't try to sway you or anybody else to vote for him, and I would encourage you to stay true to your convictions.

Let McRino win with his precious "moderates" and dupes like me who are easily suckered the first time around. Apparently your vote doesn't matter to him. If any here berate you for not toeing the party line, tell them to go pound sand.

Great response to that pulled moronic thread JR.

I see it like this, if we conservative Pubs just keep on meekly and obediently voting for the RINOs who the country club Pubs like Christy Todd Whitman's multiple wealthy organizations back and push onto us in the primaries, backstabbing RINOs such as McNasty or socially liberal RINOs such as Julianne and Romney are the only kind of people we will ever have to vote for in future general elections. We may as well take a licking this time if that's what it will take to get a much better choice of candidates in the future who are both fiscally and socially conservative.

I still have to believe that a true conservative Republican will beat a far left liberal Democrat like Obama or Hillary in the Presidential race 9 times out of 10 if the Pub primary voters are given a clear choice and they choose that kind of nominee for the general election.

As for me I haven't decided yet whether to ignore everything I have said in this post and vote for McCain because either Democrat would be much worse for the nation, or to just vote for the minor party nominee who best represents my views and hope that a McCain loss will result in a conservative nominee next time who could possibly undo most, or at least some, of the worst damage that either Democrat will do to the nation if elected. Either way I decide to go will be painful and hard for me to swallow, and I need to do a lot of serious thinking before I decide.

Freepers are a fickle lot.. and have been burned before and most will survive this latest conflagration.

I'm looking at it this way: McCain is old. It is never too early to start planning for 2012. We need to start NOW, pumping up good people to run. I have a feeling McCain will be the next President, and the next four years are going to be strictly about damage control - - - hopefully in the form of total gridlock - - until we can elect somebody decent.

I’ve been a long time coming to this, but it’s because they are: 1. clueless 2. spineless 3. STUPID

I have come to the opinion that it is much more nefarious than that- They might have been spineless and clueless, but no one can possibly be that stupid.

Nope. We need to lift up a Conservative as a 3rd party or independent to block McCain't , and go for the win. Worst case scenario, we get the Democrat (which we'll probably get anyway), best case scenario, we get a Conservative in the White House, hopefully with Republican Conservative coattails to boot.
