Well this Conservative North Carolina 21 year Veteran thinks you sound like a quitter and have given up on any type of win. You would rather lose complete control of the government than minimize the damage and conduct damage control? It’s about doing all you can to minimize the damage from the enemy and maximize damage on them.
Hillary or Obama get control of the government = maximum damage inflicted on Conservatives for decades perhaps.
McCain gets control of the government = far less damage than the alternative.
Be a realist, like it or not you deal with the cards you are delt.
Don’t forget, Ronald Reagan was a Democrat before he was a Republican. And I shook his hand back when I was on active duty, a cherished memory.
Don’t see you rejecting President Reagan for having been a Democrat.

“It would be healthier for the rat party if wed extracted the Clintons from their lymphatic system when we had the chance, which is what the rat leadership really wants, anyway.”
So you feel that giving the Rat leadership exactly what they want is a sound political strategy? Where do you people come up with this kind of logic?
Implosion at the DNC convention is best possible outcome for those who want neither Hillary nor Obama to win.

I cant disagree, but you have to play the hand youve been dealt, or fold.
The GOP has been folding for some time by incrementally aligning itself with the socialist Democrats to expand the GOP voter base with the result being increasingly socialist GOP candidates. It is the proverbial from in the pot of water gradually getting cooked without knowing they are being cooked. Playing with the hand your dealt with is another way of saying it is acceptable to cede some conservative principles for just a little more socialism in order to defeat socialism. It's a defeatist attitude that will result in the type of government you oppose.

“Yes. Hillary is the easier candidate to beat. What about that do you not understand?”
What part of “Hillary WAY outpolls Obama versus McCain in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, New Jersey and most other battleground states” don’t YOU understand?
I swear, sometimes I think Rush just wants 8 more years of the Clintons to boost his ratings. And those here who follow him apparently can’t read the polls in battleground states. It doesn’t matter how charismatic Obama is if blue collar white voters won’t vote for a black guy- and most of them won’t.

Like...?
How about actually looking at other parties that have conservative candidates. The fact that you ask the question is a clear indication you would rather drink the socialist Kool Aid instead of bothering to do any research.

Hey, heavy-duty thinker...
The statements above are yours, from the same post even. If number 1. is true, then number 2. is a waste of time (and may even carry risk) because she won't drop out of a race she is not losing, will she?
My suggestion: get a new brain. HEY HEAVY HITTER, AND TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARGUE THAT RUSH WANTS TO SEE MCPANE DEFEATED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND THIS IS SOMEHOW PERSONAL;
WHO ARGUE THAT RUSH WANTS TO SEE HITLERY ELECTED;
WHO ARGUE THAT OPERATION CHAOS IS SOMEHOW BENEATH OUR (CONSERVATIVES) DIGNITY, IS UNDERHANDED OR SOMEHOW, IMMORAL;
WHO SUGGEST THAT THIS DOES NOTHING TO ADVANCE THE CONSERVATIVE CAUSE
WHO CANT GRASP THE SIMPLICITY AND GENIUS OF THIS TACTIC WHEREBY FINALLY, OUR HAVING A TOOL WHICH ALLOW US TO CREATE MISCHIEF WITHIN THE RAT PARTY (MUCH LIKE THEY HAVE DONE TO THE REPUCLICANS) AND COULD POSSIBLY HAVE MAJOR REPURCUSIONS FOR A LONG TIME TO COME;
WHO DONT REALIZE THAT BLACKS ARE CONVINCED IT THEIR TURN AND IF ANYTHING SHOULD KEEP B.O. FROM GETTING THE NOMINATION, THEY WILL EITHER TAKE TO THE STREETS, OR STAY HOME, BUT EITHER WAY, COULD LEAD TO A SCHISM WITHIN THE DHUMMY PARTY, THE LIKES THEY HAVENT SEEN SINCE 1968
Why can't they get the picture?
Why don't they understand?
We're not dealing with the planet of apes, we're talking about the modern man.
So you people with them itsy bitsy teensie weensie, tiny minds...
Here's your sign.
I just hate stupid people.
They should have to wear signs that just say I'm stupid.
That way you wouldn't rely on them, would you?
You wouldn't ask them anything. It would be like, Excuse me...oops, never mind
I didn't see your sign."

We need to take out Iran and we need everybody on board for that.
McCain could beat Obama if Hillary had curled up and died on Super Tuesday. Now we have to worry about losing the 20% on Hillary’s side that said they’d vote for McCain if Obama was the nominee.

Bonnie and Clyde are washed up...has-beens. They are no longer America's Power Couple. Their lies have been exposed over and over again. Even the Drive-Bys have turned on them. Sure, Clinton Inc. has a deep bag of tricks and we must stay on guard. However, Mrs. Clinton is not loved by America. I don't fear her anymore. On the other hand, Obama scares me to death.

A "CONSERVATIVE" candidate?
And just who might that be??
crickets chirping..............
Are you actually willing to settle for a socialist because you haven't bothered to look past the GOP? How about actually doing some research.

We're talking November 2008 here.
I don't have 20 years to work making another viable party.

1.NEITHER ONE CAN POSSIBLY WIN THE NOMINATION OUTRIGHT
2.operation chaos is designed to do is to keep her...in the race

So according to your logic, inflicting maximum damage on the Socialist Party and causing their implosion and division is a waste of time????
Which school of political strategy did you graduate from again? It definitely wasn't from the University of Rove. Sure you are not actually trying to protect the Socialists from further damage and division?

You get either a Republican or Democratic party ballot for all races.”
ABSOLUTELY FALSE. As an “Unaffiliated” you can vote for anyone. Besides, in the General it’s a secret ballot with everyone’s name on it. Democrats can vote for Republicans and vice versa.

On the other hand, Obama scares me to death. Amen, sister
And I've been around and voting for 44 years and am old enough to have seen them all from I LIKE IKE to Tricky Dicky and The P-Nut Farmer and Barack ("Peace Be Upon His Middle No Name") Obama is the closest we have ever had to a truly dangerous candidate who could do more harm to our great Republic than anyone in our history.

inflicting maximum damage on the Socialist Party and causing their implosion and division is a waste of time????Don't flatter yourselves with your own speculations. The self-destruction of the dems is being done by the dems. This operation chaos is nothing but "feel good" activism---accomplishes nothing but at least you're doing something.

Well this Conservative North Carolina 21 year Veteran thinks you sound like a quitter and have given up on any type of win.
On the contrary. The GOP is a bunch of quitters for abandonding Conservatism to appease those who are not Conservatives in order to expand tthe voter base. I'm simply holding steady to my Conservative principles instead of trying to fool myself into believing nominating a socialist like McCain is acceptable and then compounding that false premise by pretending I support another socialist in order to get the GOP socialist into the White House. You're only going to get cuaght in your own web with that twisted thinking.
Its about doing all you can to minimize the damage from the enemy and maximize damage on them.
The "minimizing the damage" thinking is causing the downfall of the GOP. If the GOP just accepts just a little more socialism then they can defeat the socialists. That couldn't be more of a loser strategy. The onoy effective strategy is to stop the damage by holding true to Conservative values. that is A concept the GOP either refuses to emply or by some unfathomable reason can't grasp.
Be a realist, like it or not you deal with the cards you are delt.
Being a realist does not include ceding conservative values.
Dont see you rejecting President Reagan for having been a Democrat.
I do reject John McCain and the GOP for constantly sacrificing Conservative values to appease socilaists.
