She REALLY needed to be home in her “green” house yesterday, hunkered down, sleeping-in with her three daughters in her bed with her, rather than making her choice to put herself on world display in full zombie-state, without uttering a word...just standing there, zombie-style.
Doug, she seems nice, but I am not sorry for her.
She knows all too well what kind of scum she married. Eliot Spitzer is not hated for no reason. He’s a dirty, abortion loving, Dem—and he delighted in ruining people by threats and insinuations rather than hard facts.
I felt sorry for her on Monday when he trotted her out to the first news conference. Having lived through the McGreevey debacle in NJ, I figured Silda was in shock, similar to Dana McGreevey was at her husband’s press conference when he announced his resignation, and that he was gay, too.
I thought it was wrong for her to appear with him, because it sent the wrong message to his daughters. This is a woman who matured in the feminist era, and is a Harvard educated lawyer.
Then it came out that she was the one telling him not to resign on Monday but to fight on. Fight on? That’s absurd, in the light of the laws he broke.
Then she appears with him AGAIN, on Wednesday. Another great message to her three daughters. This is what a modern woman does. She allows her philandering husband to publicly humiliate her, not once but twice!
She didn’t have to appear. She had a choice, and she chose badly.
To put it in perspective, Mrs. exit82 said that if this was me, I’d be out on the curb—no worries about appearing with me at a presser. None. And she doesn’t have a Harvard degree.
They both revelled in Eliot’s rise to power and fame on the back of other’s pain. Silda could have taught her daughters that a woman wronged need not be humiliated. She could have let Eliot face the music himself. By her appearing with him, she tried to engender sympathy for a person who deserves none.
Although no longer a resident of NJ, I am praying that Gov. Corzine of NJ is Client No. 8.
Watching the resignation yesterday, I honestly thought she'd suffered a stroke, given the asymmetry in her face.She only feels shame. She was an enabler that got caught.A very sad fate for her, and especially her 3 daughters.

I agree that the “hit it” comments are crude. So, I’d to declare, somewhat informally, that, given her feminine mannerisms, elegant composure, and attractive, albeit well-worn, physical appearance, I would not object to an opportunity to engage in passionate physical intimacy, up to and including sexual intercourse, with that dear lady, assuming all marital ties and other associated connections have been satisfactorily concluded with regards to the previous owner.

This scumbag went cavelierly about destroying innocent people to satisfy his appetite (as John Podhoretz notes on another thread), to satisfy his class war ideology, and to satisfy the lowest among us, who brought him to power, the haters, the professional victims, the envious, the welfare cheats, and this woman stood right beside him.
