Eliot was a “friendly master debater”?
What’s wrong with that?

His life isn't ruined. In 6 months MSNBC or CNN will have him as a Political Commentator, some DNC Think Tanks will bring him in for studies, and he'll put out a news column with Dick "Toe Sucker" Morris discussing the issue of the day.
That or he'll be pimping for Al Gore.

Yeah I can see where people may make a link. It just doesn’t work for me. Spitzer is so not like Bill in so many ways. They’re both libs and sleazy but that’s where it ends.
To: LADY J
He's a big Dem....can't remember his name. The story wa in the New York Post yesterday or the day before.
Page 2 of the story said she met Spitzer on the ski slopes in her second year at Harvard....page 3 said she was married to this guy in her second year at Harvard. I just wondered if she was a cheater.

I'm just wonder what conection Spitzer's wife's parents' religion had to do with Ann's take on This sullied state of affairs. Why mention it at all? You are sounding like ethnicity doesn't add anything to this story. This guy is the scion of a family which is a member of the smartest, wealthiest, best educated ethnic group in the country (battling it out with Indians for first place). He aced his law school entrance exams. As previously mentioned by others a practicing Southern Baptist is going to have a problem with their daughter bringing a Jew home unless he has a date for the baptismal and is prepared for the full dunk. I object a lot more to your objection than to Ann's mention of his parents religion. Its not unusual for the religious, however much so, to introduce religion into a conversation.

Well, I’ll concede that point. Bringing her parents’ imagined perceptions of Mr. Spitzer into the article is a bit of a reach. But I think its just Ann displaying her usual sarcasm and/or scorn.

Mr. Spitzer made a career of stepping on toes and busting chops, and he didn't just limit himself. When he was New York's Commissioner of Insurance, for example, he made a lot of enemies in the national insurance industry. Believe me, there are a lot of people in a lot of states who've gotten jammed up by this guy who are personally enjoying watching him fall.

There may be more, but put it this way - I don’t see what relevance Spitzer’s problems have to Hillary. There really isn’t any strong link there. She cut him loose as a supporter. That’s all he was. He falls, Hillary’s still here. It doesn’t hurt her.

Damn right, and it should be posted every hour on the damn hour too!!!
Uh, I don't think so.
It's kinda frowned upon here to have the same article from the same source posted 24 times a day.
Dontcha think?
C'mon, lighten up now Francis, after all: how often do we see a hypocritical, big mouthed, pompous, arrogant and corrupt 'Rat hoisted on his own erectile-enhanced pitard and unceremoniously driven from office?
Break out the champagne!
Pass out the party hats! (heh! heh!)
Post Ann Coulter's righteous vitriol by the hour!

It is not...I'm a New Yorker and a Catholic. And my parents would flip if I brought home a Jewish boy.

Uhhhh - do you have a mother? Do you now have, or did you ever have, a mother-in-law?
If the answer to any of the above is “Yes”, you must have forgotten the “I told you so” syndrome.

If he acts in his private life the way he acted in public I’m sure his in-laws had lots of reasons not to approve....money or not.
Still would like to know why the 1st marriage ended after 29 days. The Post quoted a friend who said the wedding was quite a Southern affair.

Gonna disagree with Ann here. His arrogance will not stop him from doing whatever he damned well pleases, except, of course, to govern NYS and then the USA.
