Vaticans President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace has voiced surprise over the third round of sanctions against Iran. Given muslims hatred towards anyone other than their own, the dear man should wonder how long before the Vatican is subjected to one of these.

I'm hoping that western Europeans will consider the possibilities.

Like any other state, Iran is entitled to peaceful use of nuclear energy. This is Vaticans stance toward Irans nuclear issue and it has always been one of our principal policies, Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino, said on Thursday. Naive imbecile!

Like any other state, Iran is entitled to peaceful use of nuclear energyThe vatican misses the point here. It's not nuclear energy, it's the Iranian / muslim definition of PEACE, the vaticcan should be concerned with.
I'm sure when the Iranians fel the time is right, they will shrae nuclear energy, with the vatican......by the mega ton.

I’m Catholic. That being said water and vinegar do not mix. The Vatican needs to take a step back and concentrate on their own affairs. Considering all of the issues facing the Church today it’s incomprehensible to me that this statement was made.
