Appear reasonable propositions to me except
and the suffix -ize will be replaced by the suffix -ise. -ise is a French affection. The
Oxford English Dictionary, Fowler, and Partridge favour
-ize.
OTOH Gowers does note that -ise is the safer alternative for those with linited language skills, so residents of British North America should be allowed to use it
