He is called HUSSEIN barack OBAMA !Right?
And FACTS tell that he is likely to have PERSONAL sympathy and ties WITH THE MUSLIM WORLD.
Does a light come in your mind?Or do you need some drawings?

Keep in mind, the Democrats never missed an opportunity not too long ago, to call another senator by his middle name. And today that individual isn’t in the senate. The Democrats get to use a ploy, but Republicans better not!

Do you recall a candidate whose middle name is Felix?

McCain is probably grateful for those tearing into Obama but he needs to keep them at arms length

Emasculating the guy pubicly with profuse regrets is more than keeping "arm's length".

It's how McCain always treats conservatives. Like red-headed stepchildren.

I think I'd want to keep you at arms length too. The frequent all-caps typing is a dead giveaway of a nutjob.

Maybe take a class on how to better conceal it.

Just watched both Cunningham's speech and the McCain apology. A few thoughts:

1) I saw nothing wrong with what Cunningham said. In fact, he was probably more respectful than I've ever seen him.

2) McCain, as opposed to what the headline reads, didn't apologize specifically for BC's use of "Hussein" Obama. He apologized in general for "disparaging remarks make against both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton."

3) McCain shouldn't have apologized for squat.

“Just when some of us were beginning to think of voting for McCain, he pulls this politically correct crap. It reminds us of who he really is.”

McCain has never been anything but a blithering liberal.
Don’t expect him to change.
If he feels like he needs our vote, he will come out with that disgusting smile and be sure he can lie and we will believe him.
Well, consider this, can you wash the spots off a Leopard—OK.
I will never-never vote for McCain.
We need someone we trust.

Look what the voters looked over for McCain. We had some good people running and the winner was this jerk.
I just have to believe the dems voted him in.
I am one year older than McCain—difference is, I am a conservative. McCain, in my opinion, has never been anything but a liberal.

Most reasonable Americans will see McCain as taking the high road and that will help him.

There it is again... "the high road." Must be the new talking point of the day.

Attentive Americans will see McCain as a two-faced manipulative scumbag that sets up his conservative supporters to do his dirty work, then stabs them in the back to try to make himself look more palatable. His hate for conservatives is becoming even more obvious.

Bottom line: The man will double-cross anyone in his path to power. I don't trust this man.

McCain gives us the best opportunity to maintain the conservative momentum on the highest court.

I didn't realize I was responding to your first and only post. Welcome to Free Republic.

Might I suggest you read the following:

Statement by the founder of Free Republic

(snip)

As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty.

That said, I will point out that McCain is doing everything possible to destroy the conservative momentum. You don't win the game when your quarterback is secretly playin' for the other team. Schwarzenegger proves it for us Californians, almost daily.

So you have a problem with a candidate for president deciding not to match the vitriol you find around here for his opponent in hopes of not turning of voters.

Truth has always worked for me.

Maybe if McAmnesty would quit kicking conservatives to the curb and actually represent Republicans people would not be so upset at him.

How's that for Truth?

What's your point? The staff still screwed up by not giving him the right line. How can you be so obtuse?

What do you mean the right line?

Is everything for McAmnesty scripted?

Probably is, since McCain's principles are suspect judging from both his personal behavior (leaving his wife after she remained faithful he got back from Vietnam) and all the various left-wing legislation he has co-authored.

Couple that with his lying about being a conservative and you'd need to have somebody else scripting your actions as well.
