I, however, have spent mine already. I want to read in the MSM about the overwhelming rush to support! Leveling / the playing field just a little.

Well if Ralphie can get nearly a million voters or even near the two million he got last time, he could actually impact the race and give a win to ole John. It is possible if, if people will actually support this loon anymore.

Sounds like a Democrat comment from your link above on Nader:

The Democrats are beholden to the corporations for their donations. They have not passed for decades a single piece of comprehensive progressive legislation and they totally ignore: our loss of habeas corpus, the deteriorating environment, rights of employees, family values, global imperialism, children, criminal conduct by the executive and judicial branches and on and on. So far, only Ralph offers a viable alternative choice to the madness of letting the 'foxes watch the henhouse' of our government, which seems to be our motis operandi over the apst few decades. Let the criminals make the rules, enforce the rules and judge the outcome. No wonder we are facing such difficulties.

The race will also be close in Wisconsin. In 2004, that was the only state that a presidential candidate won with less than the majority of the popular vote. Kerry won WI, with about 49.5%, and Nader got about 1%.
