"Colorado Parents are behind this of course."

Here's one Colorado Parent who makes sense. It's on page 2 of the article posted.

"I just find it ironic that they can dictate the dress style of children to make sure they don't wear inappropriate clothing, but they have no controls in place for someone wearing transgender clothing," said Dave M.

I had one son who totally believed he was part wolf. We were at a BBQ and he was telling my friends husband about his special powers. He insisted that the man hide and he would find him. The guy hides and my son comes out goes to the middle of the yard and puts his nose in the air to catch his scent. He takes off on all fours (btw, he could move, he was as fast as a kid running on two legs.) Gallops around the yard and finds him. It was hysterical, the BBQ was with HS friends and none of them had kids yet. Another time we were separated from my brother at an airshow and he told me not to worry because he would sniff him out.

Needless to say, he’s 17 now and he is not a wolf.

Also here: 8-year-old boy returning to class as girl

This boy should be taken away from his parents.

Awww thanks. I did a search and it showed nothing. I seached colorado, transgender, etc. Sorry for starting another thread.

On that note: So if a kid wants to come back as a cat, will the school install litter boxes and scratching posts? Will they let IT meow instead of talk?

When my boys were preschoolers there was a little boy in the neighborhood about their age. He lived with his mother, sister and grandmother. His father had never been in the picture. My sons referred to him with the female pronouns. Just saying.

...here’s the real problem: .....it’s NOT about this little future drag queen....it’s about people like my daughter and son in law who have two small kids and can’t afford private schools....neither can they afford for her to stay home and home school...there are millions of parents like this who are getting crushed by liberal school board’s policies.

I am very suspicious of a biological link here. For years, researchers have known that in mammals, about halfway through fetal gestation, male fetuses secrete a bit of testosterone which tells their brain that it is a male brain. If the brain does not receive that hormone, by default, it is a female brain.

Importantly, in human beings, this does *not* exclusively determine their sexuality, though in animals, it does.

However, it does help to establish personality masculinity and femininity, or in some cases, androgyny.

Researchers long ago decided to interfere with this process, to see what would happen. In *animals*, it dominated their gender behavior. The researchers both gave testosterone to female fetus brains, the resulting adult animal exhibiting male sexual behavior; and prevented it from reaching the brain of male fetuses, the resulting adult animal exhibiting female sexual behavior.

They even went so far as to permit testosterone to *half* the brain of animal fetuses, who then exhibited *both* male and female sexual behavior. Since it was an animal, it would try to mate with both females and males, thus it was bisexual.

So what is the bottom line? Again, unlike animals, this cannot make humans heterosexual or homosexual or bisexual, but it does, most definitely, influence their personality type and gender affiliation.

That is, interference with this process can result in more feminine males, who are still heterosexual; more masculine females, who are still heterosexual; or, based on other factors, may increase the likelihood of homosexual or bisexual behavior, at least as far as their feminine or masculine behavior as homosexuals. (”Pink” and “Blue” homosexuals.)

However, this matters to society, because there are agricultural and industrial chemicals that can have a blocking effect on fetal testosterone. For example, plant estrogens (plant hormone) are sprayed on plants to increase plant growth and to promote larger fruit. And plant estrogens are very chemically similar to mammal estrogens.

It has been known for a while that two foods that are naturally highest in plant estrogens are yams and tofu, and that females can increase their likelihood of pregnancy by consuming these two foods.

However, once pregnant, these two foods should not be consumed if the fetus is male, as that much estrogen could interfere with his masculine personality development, again, about halfway through the pregnancy. But other fruits and vegetables sold in stores also have higher than normal artificial plant estrogens, sprayed on by farmers to increase yield, and this adds to the total.

I use all of this as background to point out how factors like this might result in increasing numbers of cases like this elementary school student with confused gender identity.

Depending on the region and the artificial chemicals involved, and the diet of people in that area, it might be expected that there could even be clusters of students at a school, of feminine boys, masculine girls, or a general androgyny of both boys and girls.

This is not good. Though once again it is important to mention that, since human sexuality is far more complex than that of animals, it is unlikely that this will cause any increase in homosexuality or bisexuality, it will still result in much confusion and unhappiness.

Like an elementary student who wants gender reassignment surgery. That is just plain wrong.

This will be proven statistically, as in times past, there were very, very few people with gender reassignment issues; but today it is a much more common dysfunction. How common might be the product of additive chemicals in our diet.

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just ship him off to a San Francisco public school?

LOL, I myself am almost 52 and I did not become a bear. However I too am part wolf. I have a special bond with my Husky and all the neighborhood dogs. They know I'm the alpha dog when I walk outside. I'm good to my pack; I give them rawhide bones and walk them to the grassy field. They respect my alpha status. Sometimes I bark at them (much to my wife's chagrin).

So, I didn't become a bear, largely because there never seemed to be any bears in my neighborhood. If there were, I would be feeding and walking bears, no doubt.

I've found it is possible to remain a human male, get a job and still realize my childhood ambitions. If my parents had dressed me as a bear and sent me to school, who knows how that would have turned out.

I was in the Dollar store with my youngest, he was about 4 at the time. Another mother and son were in front of us on line. This little boy was pitching a fit over wanting this Barbie doll. The mother was trying to reason with him, saying he ALREADY had that one at home. Gave me the heebee jeebies, meanwhile my four year old blurted out, “He’s a boy, why does he want a Barbie?”

The wolf thing didn’t bother me at all, however, if he wanted to be a girl I would be highly disturbed.

My other son thought he was Batman for about a year. Wore a cape and all. Even when we got rid of the costume cape he would find something to tie around his neck. He’s 16 and we still chuckle about the mask, cape and brown cowboy boots that he wore every day.

The Nation is upside down.

A boy wants to become a girl.
The Republican party is becoming the Democrat party.

What next?

I think the school staff seem to be having just a little too much fun with this whole thing. They are busy busy busy.

children as young as 5 years old are realizing their true gender identity sick and her group wants to help parents who may be resisting the acceptance of this tempted to treat this PC-protected aberration as the psychopathology it is.

Did anyone else catch this?

he student had attended this same school in years prior, but had left to go to classes in another district for about two years. The transgender student will be returning to what is the child's home school. Dave M. thinks classmates will recognize the change.

How many "years" has this child been in school and how is he only in the second grade?

When I was a kid, little boys wanted to grow up to be a cowboy, a fireman, a soldier or a cop. Now they want to grow up to be women. Weird. Must be something in the water.

"I myself when I was 5 or 6 told my parents that when I grow up, I want to be a bear."

It's not too late for you to express your inner Ursidae .
When you go back to work on Monday, demand that your boss and coworkers refer to you as "Smokey".
