Per National Review Early Exit Polls:

Missouri: Romney 34 percent, McCain 32 percent, Huckabee 25 percent

I stand corrected.

"Thanks for the chuckle. I sure need one today!"

Good thing MSN is still showing best and worst of the superbowl ads...I'm memorizing them.

No he won’t. OK, I’m no good at prognostication — they called it for Romney.

I don’t know why everybody hates Romney, but I know that Romney would probably be our nominee now if he hadn’t managed to get so many of the other candidates to oppose him. I’m not saying he did anything wrong, or that he SHOULD have gotten their support, but it certainly doesn’t help when most every candidate would rather one of their other opponents to win.

The only candidate I DON’T think feels that way is Fred Thompson, and that might just be wishful thinking.

I’m still holding out some slim hope Romney will pull this out, if for no other reason than I still can’t bring myself to say “Republican nominee John McCain”. I’m not as against McCain as a lot of people here, but he wasn’t in my top 4 candidates, so that’s pretty far to sink.

“Mccain will take Minnesota”

65% reporting
Romney 42%
McVain 22%

At least we in Minnesota can see thru this unstable, amnesty lovin’, Rino.

Not suspicious, but obvious.

We in the anybody but McCain crowd can cry foul all we want, but this is hard core classic politics. Nothing illegal.

I just wish Thompson had had the balls to play
hardball politics. He still might have been in the race and we might have had a reasonably conservative candidate to carry the GOP banner. The sad thing is that with the three contenders in the race, there is really no candidate that gives conservatives a reason to vote for them rather than against them.
