RIP. Mr. Buckley lived by my high school pal when he lived by Newburgh, NY. I had a feeling someone here knew him. It figures that it was the one and only twit.

Now Obama's favorite flicks. The Godfather and Lawrence of Arabia.
These choices are no surprise to me. The media mania continues.

There is a double dipping DROP scandal in Florida. She was in jail for taking food. It was theft but the real thieves are running the state's DROP program and the judges and other officials who are defrauding taxpayers by the tens of thousands of dollars per month. Supremey Anstead and J. Ray Ulmer and others are committing grand larceny but after the JQC has a look, they'll be hailed as heroes.
They are the thieves.

Those are both excellent movies, The Godfather would certainly be in my top 10 (though Godfather II was better).

I liked Lawrence of Arabia but both movies are too violent for my taste.

Actually, Ralph Nader was on Terri’s side and made a statement that they should leave the feeding tube in.

I watched Lawrence of Arabia again not long ago, the one thing I was left with was the thought that if the British had kept their promises to the Arabs we would be living in a very different and safer world today.

Withholding care is not execution. Inflammatory language obscures rather than clarifies complex issues.

Ralph Nader and I think Teddy Kennedy came out for Terri at the same time. It was after Pat Boone and Mel Gibson. There were other surprise supporters for Terri who I can't recall.
Against her were Florida's Republican legislators. I have the graphic of the GOP'ers who voted to kill Terri. I just don't have a place to host it.
Had the nine RINOS voted for Terri, she'd still be here...

Withholding care is not execution. Inflammatory language obscures rather than clarifies complex issues. Let's "clarify" things a little further then, shall we:
Food and water ARE NOT medical care, they are basic requirements for all human beings. To deny them has always been considered cruel and inhumane by civilized people. To suggest otherwise would certainly be "inflammatory language" more typical of those groups which do not value human life.
If you want to push your pro-death agenda, perhaps you should take it to another forum, or at least another thread because it WILL NOT be tolerated on any of the "Terri Dailies" thread.

Perhaps but it still hinged upon the willingness of Jeb Bush to recognize the Congressional subpoena.

Jeb Bush was unwilling to be a leader or a man. However, he was willing to be a coward “for the party”.

Withholding care is called NEGLECT. Neglect can lead to death/execution. Take your pick

Keep this handy...
Florida Statute 765.309
Mercy Killing or euthanasia not authorized. (1) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to condone, authorize, or approve mercy killing or euthanasia, or to permit any affirmative or deliberate act or omission to end life other than to permit the natural process of dying.
(The law the State of Florida VIOLATED when they tortured Terri to death.)

I pretty much knew the Florida Constitution and pertinent statutes backwards and forwards three years ago.
There were several different instances where Terri’s civil rights were blatantly ignored and Jeb Bush had more than enough authority to act without the consent of the courts or legislature.
