Until I reach No. 7, I thought you were serious about supporting Huck because you thought he was the best out there. No. 7 made it clear that to get FRed, we all need to vote for Huck in big numbers to make all 3 remaining candidates think they can broker each other for the necessary delegates.
But their egos will keep them from supporting each other.
Thanks for the interesting read. /smiling

The date on my source is January 16th, 2008, the same date as your source.
The devil MAY care, which is why I could never vote for Huckabee. The man claims to be a Christian but his actions in this campaign have not been those of a Godly man. I know we’re all sinners, but damn, Huckabee has been pathetic. Whiny, sniveling, throwing out personal attacks and crying when he is rightly challenged.
Sure you can believe the same thing. Something was exchanged. Tancredo's endorsement was as out-of-left-field as was Brownback's as was Gilchrist's as was Pat Robertson's. This little game makes for strange bedfellows. And the McCain/Huckabee ticket will make for some of the strangest bedfellows.
That is a very good point.
He also had a beard, too.
I beg your pardon, but I haven’t seen him redeem himself to the thousands and thousands of innocent children that were murdered in the womb on his watch and due to his pro-active support of Planned Parenthood and unwavering defense and preservation of Roe v Wade, abortion and the culture of death. It takes a truly evil man to do what he did.
Tactical voting is often done successfully in Europe. Nice thought, but honestly, I doubt it would work very well here.
Changing the method of taxation without addressing the size of government and spending is like changing the tablecloths on the Titanic. Huckabee is a tax and spendaholic, and I don't buy his sudden FairTax garbage which he was never a supporter before Ron Paul started talking about the income tax. Also he is a nanny-stater and overall do-gooder. He is EXACTLY why the Republicans lost in 2006.
I think Hunter’s support of Huckabee goes beyond the endorsement since Hunter has appeared with Huckabee at campaign events.
And I think McCain is guilt ridden from his days at the Hilton. I've heard him in interviews where he reflects back to it and the truth sometimes bubbles to the surface.
Romney could not ban abortions in Mass or anywhere else, because of Roe v Wade. Why blame it on him?
They upped his rating after he signed their “No Amnesty” pledge.
And you and ejonesie22 keep sticking an asteroid in ....
Thanx, Anna.
(PS ... what ever became of your cross country documentary .. what? ... 6, 7 years ago?)
” (Hunter & Thompson)”
This sounds like fear and loathing on the campaign trail. Is this Gonzo? (grin)
I did like #7, but I don't think that will happen--there are too many power elites that have SET upon McCain as THEIR MAN.
Indications of this: McCain's stance on immigration and other issues, some of which make no sense and cannot be explained any other way.
It's as if McCain and Reid both suffer from the same illness, but that it affect Reid quickly, and McCain only slowly, but they exhibit the same symptom.
Pity Fred Thompson isn't still in the race, though. Wife and I loved him. Genuine conservative.
Thompson Effect [tomp-son ef-fect] noun: 1. Syn: Aesops fable concerning the tortoise and the hare, q.v., with Thompson being the tortoise. 2. An unwise political strategy involving dilly-dallying on deciding to run while your opponents are out shaking the hands of voters and running commercials. 3. verb: To do something stupid, in a political sense, involving an unwise strategy involving the delay of execution of a political strategic plan. Candidate Ritter delayed announcing his candidacy too long, and pulled a Thompson when his voters all went for his opponent.
I think there is a good chance it would.
