Well, you should have said G36 instead of GLOCK in general. I'll grant you that the G36 isn't up to the rest of the herd in reliability.
And you are completely wrong on the slide stop lever. It can most certainly be used to release the slide to chamber a round. Read your owners manual, it might be enlightening.
To: Chris DeWeese
Actually, now that I go back and read your post, you are claiming that all the shooters are having stovepipes???
So you are all shooting G36's at the same time?
Or do you just exaggerate a bit?

We run it just fine thank you. FYI we were the only group at the range at that time so we were in full control at all times.

I recently bought a nearly 20 year old Rossi .38 Special revolver..from a LEO friend.
I am very happy with it...

No, you did not get that out of the manual. Page 23 is very clear on that.

The glock 36 is a single stack magazine. From what I have heard it is the only one with feeding problems.

Yep.
"4. After the last round has been fired, the slide remains open.
Remove the empty magazine from the weapon by pushing the magazine catch (19). Insert a new magazine and then either push the slide stop lever (27) downward (see photo 2), or pull the slide slightly backward and allow it to spring forward. The weapon is now again ready to fire."

Yeah, I posted it. Push it down to let the slide go forward. That is according the GLOCK though, so you probably should not listen to them.
