This kind of stuff drives me nuts:

“His past votes have been anti-gun and I feel like it may just be a campaign strategy that we’re not going to fall for,” said Gerald Stoudemire, president of Gun Owners of South Carolina, an NRA state association.

What votes? What vote did Mitt ever have the chance to make? He's never been in the Legislature or Congress. Did he sign some anti-gun legislation as the Governor of Mass? Gerald Stoudemire needs to give us the specifics or keep his mouth shut.

That would probably be the best choice if I was voting in the Republican primary, but I have to vote in the other one in order to support my local sheriff. I can’t stand the prospect of him losing because he really is a good sheriff and the other candidates... let’s just say they aren’t qualified. They’re all Democrats. Not that many people vote in my county, so my own vote could actually make a difference. Since I’m sort of forced to vote in the wrong primary due to that, I’ll just have to vote against Clinton as well. It’s a shame Lieberman isn’t running against her.

Oh geeze, thanks for posting that! I especially like this part:

We give them no help what so ever! No money, no grass-foot efforts

Well, that explains it...the guy's so high he's wearing his grass on his feet instead of smoking it.

Unlike yourself, I am not willing to put the Republicans out of power in both the Whie House and Congress because of a perceived lack of ‘ideological purity’.

By the way does anyone know exactly what the state of McCain’s health is? A question that is important if he is the nominee and then his choice of VP is very important.

Mc Cain is a liberal PERIOD.To be honest I’m sick here . I see no really OUTSTANDING republican out there. Obama or Klinton will be president . That being the case I think America is on a SERIOUS decline. We’ll have globalism and Socialism here. The Islamics will have a field day disassembling America .
I fight with people on a daily basis here in NY City that think either of the Dems running is oh so wonderful .How can ANYONE with even a half a brain not see through these clowns?

McSwine is the amnesty man.

John McCain would still SIGN THE BILL to grant amnesty to the crimnals.

How would I feel if McCain became President? I would be relieved that neither Clinton nor Obama would be Commander in Chief.McCain is not my candidate...but but he is better than any of the Democrats.

Over two years I have asked our Freepers to take a look at Mitt.. he is not perfect.. but WAAAAY ahead of the others.. he just needs a good VP to back up the pieces that McCain brings to the table.. i.e. the military smarts.. my parents were huge supporters of the first Romney.. the bottom line is the economy and how the U.S. manages on the global platform.. Mitt will get that! ,, also, with a strong VP, vibrant staffing and our full support, Hillary/Obama will be toast.. frankly, I think Obama has a future, but not now.. By the way.. everyone seems to be talking about change.. what does it mean?? Change=good or change=bad.. we never seem to get it is the policies and platform that will create the future.. have already voted (am in FL).. most of my neighbors and Church group are in Mitts corner.. hopefully, our votes will help..
