Can anyone hate America more than a president who has made us MORE beholden to ME potenatates in the past eight years?

I'm not a big Bush fan anymore, but yes, I can think of a few...

Can anyone be a worse friend to Israel than a president who has to cow-tow to its enemies, hat in hand, for a few more wee drops of oil?

I'm not a big Bush fan anymore, but yes, I can think of a few...

The free flow of oil at market prices = a 300% increase in the cost per barrel since 2000, precarious national security via emperilled energy independence, costly wars in the ME, inflation due to increased oil costs, and no end in sight.

Yeah, we should pull out of the middle-east, pull out of everywhere, and we'd have $0.95 oil. That is if we'd still be around after the bombs hit. Great thinking!

If Clinton had done this we’d all be screaming til we were hoarse and the Pubbies would be running against the precarious economy and foreign policy mess.

Dumb argument. Clinton didn't do it. Bush did and we've yet to have another 9/11 type event. I'd say his track record on that, at least, is pretty good. He's lousy on immigration and our border though and for that I fault him big time. His Israeli policy is the pits also, and I fault him on that big time. In fact I fault him for a lot recently. But that doesn't mean we have to consider a wacko to replace him.

"Thsi latest round of Paul bashing has moved me to go and donate to Paul’s campaign."

I have never seen so much vicious, ugly hate as I have seen on these threads, always from the same usual suspects. I'm guessing these people aren't Christians. I already donated last night (after midnight) but the hate expressed here has made me decide to donate again. I'll put in half of what I put in last night, which for me is digging deep, since I don't have a lot of money. In the name of LOVE, to go against the hard-hearted, ugly hatred on this thread.

*goes to donate*

GITP: Ron Paul a Jew hater??? Who knows? One thing we do know is that if Iran’s nutball Ahmadinejad carries out his threat to build nukes to incinerate Israel, paleoPaulie the wonderwimp is for standing idly by and watching. Dr. Demento would also have thought that Hitler and the Holocaust were none of our business. Whether he hates Jews or not, he will do until the real thing (like some of his financial backers) comes along.

Thanks for the post. Great for you. It was the bashing that converted me to Ron Paul as well.

The bashing always cracks me up. Sometimes its the same old stuff. Just hoping they get some new material.

“GITP: Ron Paul a Jew hater??? Who knows? One thing we do know is that if Iran’s nutball Ahmadinejad carries out his threat to build nukes to incinerate Israel, paleoPaulie the wonderwimp is for standing idly by and watching.”

Israel has nukes on cruise missiles on German built Dolphin class subs.

They also have top of the line F-15’s and spy satellites.

What can we do for them that they can’t?

Iran is killing US troops in Iraq NOW. What is our response? Nothing, not even when they bring speedboats close to our warships.

Bush is actively trying to get Israel to give the Fatah terrorists half of Jerusalem.

Bush forced Israel out of Gaza and now they are forcing them out if Judea and Samaria. Bush accomplished what no Arab army ever did! What a friend.

If we won’t defend ourselves against Iran, what makes you think we would defend Israel?

“Dr. Demento would also have thought that Hitler and the Holocaust were none of our business.”

Dr. Demento was a radio host. I don’t see how he’s relevent?

Dr. Paul would have fought to win - because Congress actually declared war back then.

“Whether he hates Jews or not, he will do until the real thing (like some of his financial backers) comes along.”

What’s Bush then? He’s the biggest enemy to Israel there is now - no Arab ever forced Israel to make the kinds of concession Bush is!

I’ll take Paul’s non-intervention over Bush’s dumb policies any day.

I do not see how. He is already down as low as he can possibly get.

Well, lets see if he outlasts Fred Thompson, who is just slightly ahead of him in Florida.

How is Paul "disrupting" the GOP primaries? So far he hasn't placed above 5th place except for Nevada, and even that was a distant 2nd. Where are all of the hordes of leftists who were supposed to cross-over and vote for Paul? If he's being rejected by GOP primary voters, then you should be celebrating instead of worrying about him.

Yes, but he is making Rudy and Fred look bad by getting more votes then they did in Nevada and NH.

I think they will be gone before Paul will be.

These newsletters weren't so much as racist as they were un-PC. The article on the aftermath of the Rodney King riots, for example, was spot-on although it could have been worded better.

Amen!

Amazing how PC even conservatives have gotten.

I hope the treasonous little weasel runs third party as well since his continual America bashing, sustained Al Qaeda sympathizing, do nothing track record on social isssues, hypocrisy on earmarks and generally despicable antiAmericanism and peacecreepism will be likely to draw far more votes from the Demonrats than from the GOP. Government miniaturization is a lot less viable a crusade than you may imagine. If the left can imagine Surrender NOW! as a foreign policy under the Galveston wonderwimp, then they needn’t be concerned over his worship of minigovernment, especially since he won’t be elected in any event or even come remotely close (to 10% in the general). For leftists, he would be all feel good and no responsibiity. They find that combination hard to resist (just as their paleobirdbrain cousins do).

Man, your posts are usually a jaw-breaking jingoistic jaunt through the dark mind of an anti-ee cummings, but this one was not up to your own hard candy with nails in it standard. It was missing that "car driving the wrong way out of an impound lot and shredding its tires and then riding on rims" quality you sometimes attain.

Paul is trying to move the GOP back to its traditional roots.

The GOP's traditional roots do not include blaming America for terrorist attacks. They do not include appeasing the enemy rather than defeating them.
They do include the belief of peace through strength.
Paul has never been interested in the GOP. He is only interested in his own over inflated ego.

I'm confused. So now RP is for big government socialism?

Paul is clearly talking about the generosity of others, from churches and communities, despite the revised highlighting attempt.

When he is raising money...

You know damn well those groups you mentioned aren't Paul's primary supporters.

Quit being disingenuous.

You are the one saying he is not getting ALL of his support from George Soros and moveon.org. Where else could he be getting his money from?

I have lost 7 IQ points just reading this thread. It’s very sad watching all of the unsourced conspiracy theories thrown about, and appeals to political correctness on a republican sight.

I’ve been a member for a long time but the level of discourse is become reminescent of the DUmmy’s.

The strength of conservatism has always been that it is well reasoned and in alignment with reality.

Sad to see how radically this has changed.

Sorry... it’s more like you filter your “facts” until they spew out like your basic bovine excrement... Like processed grass that adorns a lot of pastures. Hardly “reality.”

Whatever. Just don’t pretend that the treasonous little weasel of Galveston or his love slaves are remotely related to actual conservatism.
