Yeah but they topped out at something like 14-0.

It was the Dolphins and they’ve been rubbing in in everyone’s faces for 36 years!

THE PATS ARE 17-0.

Buh-bye Dolphins.

The way Sharpe speaks, it’s hard for me to understand him! He also thinks he’s clever - and he’s NOT.

It’s been a good game, so far! I expected the Patriots to be waaaaaay ahead by now.

Re: Olbermann.

I think Founding has a solid point... no one is worse than Olbermann.

The Chargers are really missing LT in the red zone. He adds that extra dimension there. Still a better game than I anticipated.

The ONLY 17-0 NFL team ever.

...and they only got caught cheating once.

the dolphins topped out at 17-0 with a super bowl win, but i agree they have needed to be shut up for several decades which is the only reason i’m rootin for the patriots.

The second. Fins were the first back in 1972.

Here is their backup QB, Earl Morrall, who won most of the games for them that undefeated season. He was 38, the same age Brett Favre is now.

The Frozen Tundra is on the Mantle, The Brick is on the other side, Our kindred are within 70 miles of Titletown, and we are having Brats and Leines for supper....
And we are in the Twilight Zone!

I know there are no “moral victories” in the NFL. But, so far, this comes pretty close.

Hmmm. The NFL and advertisers want a particular matchup?

I don’t think they need to “pray” about it. After all, who pays for the refs? The NFL and advertisers have made sure these teams have gotten this far . . . what makes anyone think the plan stops in the conference championship games.

People . . . do you really think the NFL would do focus groups and evaluate marketing data unless they were going to use the findings?

Like the Romans had their “games,” the businesses known as the NFL and the NBA want to give people what “they” want. Leagues built on marketing.

I am still getting Headers with the original story on the FR main page instead of the Headers with comments as I have as my preference.

Anyone here know what is going on with this? It has been that way since last Tuesday or Wednesday.

Not to say the Pats are feeling confident
about their chances against the banged-up
Chargers in this AFC Championship Game,
but I heard that Coach Bill Belichick was
sighted at a Goodwill bin shopping for a
new wardrobe for Super Bowl week.

Cheating is tripping the QB?

I think violating the rules is considered cheating (or is it getting away with violating the rules is cheating - like the way the New England Cheaters were not forced to forfeit the game when the team was caught cheating).

Should have been: 10 yard penalty - first down Chargers. But no. The New England Cheaters once again gained from violating the rules.

Slogan: The New England Cheaters: Give us a break, we only got caught cheating once
