“The only way I stay home is if Huckabee is the nominee. I never thought a nominee could actually keep me from voting but I just won’t be able to bring myself to do it.”

Oh well, you will just get to rest that day. I can’t condemn you because if either Guiliani or Romney were the nominees I will vote the other issues but leave that part of the ballot blank. I can’t vote for a pro-abort & homophile (Guiliani) and I can’t back a dedicated mormon cultist as POTUS (Romney).

Looks like no matter how it all pans out, there are going to be a lot of people staying home or not voting in November.

From the article:

“Narrowing down the Republican field was tough for Wade Taylor, 63, of Anderson, who liked some of what all the candidates had to say, especially Thompson, McCain and Giuliani, Saturday morning the retired automotive dealership manager made his final decision, for Thompson.

“He seemed to have the values I am concerned about with keeping this country strong and his values on immigration. I think a lot of people don’t realize what kind of trouble we’re really in,” Taylor said.”

Remember when Huckabee joked about the other candidates commiting suicide?

He seems in love with himself.

Here's another example of his "badmouthing" that also illustrates his hypocrisy:

Mike Huckabee: Congress spends like Edwards at a beauty shop ...

Mike Huckabee stops by the 'beauty shop' (remind you of John Edwards at all?)

Peggy Noonan described it as "more James Carville than Jim Nabors.

The press eats up showcasing this " Gomer" hoping beyond hope that we'll nominate him

Your scale is not specific.

Let me offer a different scale.

10 thru 0 on LIFE

10 thru 0 on LIBERTY

10 thru 0 on PROPERTY

Reagan is an 897
BushW is 754
McCain is 512
Hillary is 021

How would you rank others on this sort of system?

It’s hard to tell much from an article, but I like the overall trend. If most undecideds go for Fred, there could be an awesome outcome.

I know for a fact that a certain segment of out Christian brothers and sisters collect autographs in their well used and well marked up Bibles, from preacher / evangelist superstars

He recognizes his own genius.

It would be nice to have a humble fellow in the WH, who knew wtf he was talking about.

Given my 10 and 0, how would you rate them?

Hunter's probably better than Thompson. Rudy is probably a tiny bit better than Huckabee or McCain, but within the "margin of error" of them.

I guess I see things more fundamentally as:

Arguing about the other front-runners to me seems like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

LOL! Jeff Birnbaum predicting, if Hillary doesn’t win Nevada, THERE WILL BE LAWSUITS! Maybe they’ll bring in David Boies!

Too bad caucuses don’t have any CHADS!

Oh boy, now they’re saying: “But if Obama doesn’t win there will be FIREWORKS!”

Popcorn time!
