Yes, but McCain has won his first and last primary, so its a purely hypothetical question.

Probably not. He is no different from Obama...

For those media types and left wing operatives who are observing the posts to this thread.

Yeah, I would vote for McCain in a heartbeat to prevent Democrats from getting the power of the Executive Branch.

4. Vote for a third party. Might be time for like minds to pick a coordinated protest vote.

I’ll vote third party and change my registration to a third party.

Better to rip the band-aid off quickly. America will survive Clinton or Obama, but the Republicans will not survive a McCain nomination.

Yes. While I have problems with him on a huge number of issues (immigration, 2nd Am., campaign finance) I believe he at least would be serious about the war (maybe not always right, but at least serious about it). That puts him way ahead of Clinton/Obama and gives me enough of a reason not to waste a protest vote.

Romney, I honestly would have to think about. I candidly think he would make a better VP (not that he would get that spot). Someone who is a qualified manager you could assign to handle an issue but who should not be allowed to set policy.

Second good question. It is much easier to predict the outcome of a NCAA basketball March Madness games and the Final Four then the outcome of these primaries.

Off-topic, read from GOP_Raider that you will be doing the NCAA basketball threads. Welcome. Will post to you. :)

Acedemic arguement (or is it a moot point??)

McCain has a much chance of winning the nomination as do I!

Yes, anyone who wants to protect us better than every lib.
Plus I expect the Republican to be better on taxes than Hildabeast or Obambi.

(1) certainly.

Bush is just as far left on immigration and farther left on spending, but we support him don't we? McCain is a hawk and we need a hawk. That is enough to vote for him over any Dem. I'd rather have Thompson, but he has nothing in the polls. Policy wise I'd rather have Romney even. But whoever we nominate, I'll support.

I will just NOT vote if he wins. And it is hard for me to believe I am saying that given that I have been a Republican all my adult life and never missed an election!

I would never vote for any Candidate that said he was against English being the official language of the US. Mcpain is a backstabbing Liberal with a R after his name. I will however still vote in the local elections.

1. Yes, but not happy about it all. The ONLY two I would never, EVER vote for under any circumstances are Giuliani and Paul.
