The other guys just vote.
What you have said, I agree with.
I fought very hard for George Bush in 2004 to be reelected, and other than the War on Terror, he has been a huge disappointment.
I will hold my noise just once more and vote Republican, because I love my country.
Unless it’s Fred in 2008, that will be the last time I am a broken glass Republican. It is time for a new party with a new vision of America that is closer to the free country envisioned by the Founders.
What I have come to realize is, we have two generations already that don’t even know what that is.And since they have never had to fight for it(excluding those in our military—I’m talking about a nationwide involvment and effort akin to WW2)they are mostly uninformed and think that no power will come to be that will harm them or their families.
History teaches us otherwise.
And this country is at one of these crossroads in 2008.
The disease of the Clintons has only infected us for 15 years, but we are on the ropes. I never thought I would see it happen.
What is even more distressing is seeing evangelicals falling hook, line, and sinker for the Dope from Hope. These are people who should know better, as better judges of character.
But the flim-flam man is alive and well. And in spite of millions of college and post graduate educated folks in the USA, people seem dumber than ever about what is really important.
funny. Huckabee doesn’t have a clue what’s going on regarding foreign policy and we’re in the middle of a war. We have 200k men and women engaged in two fronts of this war. Huckabee is a nanny stater, none federalist, taxer.
As reported over at Ace of Spades, “The Huckabee Campaign, Summarized in One Quote. . . .His aides are wary of New Hampshire. ‘It’s all no tax, no government there,’ said Bob Wickers, a top strategist. ‘It’s not ideal.’
Yup, you read that correctly. The Republican front-runner thinks a no-tax, limited-government state is ‘not ideal’ for his campaign.”
Huckabee would be a great candidate for the Democratic nomination. He’s like the last governor AR sent us.
I give politicians who are for the "FAIR" tax points for being on the side of tax reform, but they have not thought through the likely results of their new scheme. The flat tax causes no problems, and results in a population that is more willing to participate voluntary in the tax regime.
