"I spent 22 years in the United States Navy. I led -- not managed -- I led the largest squadron in the United State Navy, over a thousand people and hundreds of millions in assets," McCain said. "I'll put my leadership -- not management -- but leadership credentials up against anybody's."

Yeah John, you led yourself right into taking money from Keating. You led yourself dead smack against the 1st and 2nd Amendments to our Constitution. You led on amnesty for illegal alien invaders. Just drop the pretenses and register as a Democrat. Oh, and thank you for your service in the Navy.

Co-authoring an amnesty bill with Ted Kennedy and a free speech stifling bill with Russ Feingold trumps....

All.

“Just drop the pretenses and register as a Democrat.”

His lifetime ACU rating is 82 - four points below Fred Thompson.

As a leader in the fight for illegal-alien amnesty, and a believer in man-made global warming, John McCain will unfortunately lead us in the wrong direction.

His stand on critical issues is much, much worse than Fred’s. You know that and I know that.

The number one issue in this election is the GWOT. Amnesty is not an issue because McCain has committed to border secuirty first. And global warming is hardly a top issue.

McCain is old, had malignant melanoma twice and stabs this country in the back every chance that he gets.

We are past and present Navy.
Sure doesn’t qualify one of my family to be POTUS.

The critical issues of this election as I see it are the GWOT, fiscal responsibility, and judges - so, no, I don't see him as any "worse than Fred".

Leading 1000 men as a squadron does not mean you have ANY clue as to how to lead a nation.......or even an infantry division.

I get it....he “led” the CFR fiasco.

He “led” the amnesty for illegals charge with fat Teddy at the wheel.

He “led” the very reasons why he will not win the nomination.

I guess I’m just dumb; but I have no idea what distinction McCain is making here.

True leaders don't fear free speech, Senator.

You are wrong. but what else is new. There are quite a few more important issues out there. We need someone like Fred who can handle more than that.

The number one issue in this election is the GWOT. Amnesty is not an issue because McCain has committed to border secuirty first. And global warming is hardly a top issue.

The Global war on terror begins at the border, with McCain, "Comprehensive Immigration Reform," is always an issue. I know John McCain, he is committed to being President, he will say or do anything to get there. Global warming is a lie, designed to get huge government grants for those pretending to find a solution to a non existing problem. McCain claims to be tough on cutting unnecessary spending, he should start by eliminating grants to study globull warming.
