Wow, what a knock-out!!
Oh yes. it berries .I have hedges of it out at the front..My youpon holly tree has had a banner year of berries..I let it get limbs on the roof..The roofer trimmed it there.I need to trim more all over ..but it hangs just perfectly in view from my DR/LR sliding door ..really get a view from all rooms..and I am loathe to trim those thick red berries off just yet.I have to dodge a branch when going far out on the patio.

Dita, thank you so much. It was a Christmas gift and it wasn’t hard to do except that harp was a terrificly hard metal and it wouldn’t squeeze together like a lighter weight metal would. I believe I bent steel the other day, just like Superman~~LOL~~but I am paying today! It will get better soon!
I failed to note your cold..Take care of yourself..I haven’t had a real cold in years..but the last one was a humdinger..YUK

I called my brother in Ga. last night and his wife answered and said he went to bed and had a terrible cold. I called to tell him the candy and party mix was on the way.
He called today and said he was some better.
I’m sorry, you have to be insane to go there on New Year’s.

I have lost track of sunset time..I just know it gets dark too early...I loaded up on juice at the store..I need to go get a glass..cold or not..By the way..we were in the 20s last night but are now in the 50s..New Years is will turn colder... with wind..I hate the cold wind!
Seems you are doing the right thing by drinking lots of fluids. The cold might not develop with you getting it early!

I sure hope it goes away. The orange juice is good. I’ll try to go to bed early tonight but I drank so much tea today, LOL, I’ll be up all night. ;)
The wind is a bummer. It’s been warmer here. I’m being tricked into thinking it’s spring. It’s not even officially Jan. yet. ;) One good thing is we are now on the other side of the darkest day of the year.
I bet your birds are very happy. I need to plant berrying plants. I’d love to see Cedar Wax Wings here.
Sitting too long is a killer for my back..I am much better off with my legs up in bed..I have to watch myself in bed.too, lest I try to type in an awkward position.. I have a hard pillow behind my back as well as a baby pillow for the small of my back..and the heating pad handy if I need it..Today I don't ..
I just took a big leaf out of the dining table but I slid it end first into a chair before lifting it and moving it under the bed..
I have all decorations down except for the lights and swag decor on my long bookcase countertop..I did a little every day to avoid a compulsive "do it all now" New Years rush. I really loved my china cabinet buffet..looks so bland now!
Last year I had cedar waxwings and more robins than usual..and all later than I had remembered..They don’t hang around very long..I certainly love it when they come by!
That has to be so special! You will be one of the first I run to tell if I ever see a Cedar Wax Wing. :)
Too many people for me also. If I could be in a ball room overlooking the crowd, then I’d go. ;)
