I was with my family and my visiting (from Dallas) sister-in-law’s family on a day trip to New York. I remember seeing the headline “Clinton Impeached” on one of those moving neon signs that goes around the corner of a tall building? We were outside Radio City Music Hall, and it was a chilly but beautiful December day.
It was like the culmination of a zillion hours of following EVERYTHING on Free Republic that year. I told my kids during the summer that we were watching the implosion of a Presidency, minute-by-minute, live, on the computer.

Originally dealing with the failed land deal years earlier known as Whitewater, Starr, at the request of Attorney General Janet Reno, dropped investigation into Whitewater, and limited
his investigation to Clinton’s conduct during the sexual
harassment lawsuit filed by a former Arkansas government
employee, Paula Jones.
This effectively led the public away from Whitewater and the Rose Law Firm, and concentrated it on something the Clinton administration felt it could survive.
