Away in a Manger~~Mormon Tabernacle Choir
Thanks to everyone for pings; I'll be gettin' to ya....:)
Thank you, Dita for this wonderful music video tonight. Just finished watching it.
I have been all over this computer tonight. Look for it to blow up at any minute!!!! LOL
These pictures are great, Lady J, thank you. The snow looks so soft!! And the doe is lovely. I don’t think our deer out west have a broad tail like that, not sure.
Oooooh, this gif is really neat, ((GeeBee))...
Wow, that was quick!! Booboo must have been really tired/sleepy....:)
Jaycee, Junior seemed to have the most energy in the morning then tapered off. Momma had to fight off the too-curious yellow-rumped intruder for much of the afternoon. Of course, I was out for a few hours. As GeeBee says, Junior has it really good: a comfy warm little nest, Momma bringing snacks all day, etc. We’ll see tomorrow if he (could be a she, I really don’t know:) discovers some new aspects of aerodynamics.... Heeeheee...
Great photos. I especially like the one where the sailors “man the rails to render honors.” That is always an impressive sight.
Your deer could very well be different. Ours are called white-tailed deer because when they run away they raise their tails and it’s like a big white flag.
Eggnog, I love that stuff. Don’t get me started, lol...:)
Booboo was tired. She went right out. Then I had to stand outside waiting for my dog. She thought it was play time in the snow and ice at 11:30 pm. I don’t think so. LOL
It’s so special they come to where you live: what a delight.
Here, I must take a trip to possibly see one or two.
It’s nice to see them run, isn’t it?
LOL. Puppy dog, what were you thinking?
It’s not even a full moon...:)
I think she was playing me. I put peanuts out for the birds earlier. She was probably trying to sneak eating them. I’m on to her. ;)
We have the same type of deer as Lady Jag. I never saw a babe like in her picture. How sweet is he/she!
I see them occasionally from a distance. One morning I went out and there was a buck standing right in front of me. I was in aw seeing him so up close. A little scared of him too. I hope they don’t come back and eat my landscaping.
A buck can be REALLY big. I was riding the bus to work one day a few years ago when I worked adjacent to the Santa Monica mountains, looked out the window and DANG. There was a big old buck, at least a ton, hanging out on the steep hillside. Wow.
You may have been a little too close for comfort. We like nature, but nature does not always like US...lol...:)
Exactly! I walked away slowly. I did not want to mess with him.
I felt that way when I was walking down a country road in Ireland many years ago, and suddenly there loomed before me in a field a couple of the largest cows I had ever seen. I mean they were HUGE. And all that separated the field from the road was a low stone wall. Call me a wimp, but I changed my plans then and there, went back into town and had a drink.
:-)
LOL! I’d be right beside you. :)
Neat you went to Ireland. I’d would love to go there. You will have to tell me about your trip.
It’s after midnight. I better hit the sack. Talk to you tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your night!
Hugs!
