Wow, I figured THEY wouldn’t go after BBQ and Grills until the Spring, focusing now on Fireplaces and Wood Stoves.
~Nanny used to be at least ‘Seasonal’~
Smoking Bans were never about Cigarettes, all you people who don’t like the smell of Cigarettes, just remember people also don’t like the smell of a sizzling steak.
I’ll have mine Boiled Medium Rare.
And these same imbecilic politicians will be the first people to complain when their steak costs them forty or fifty dollars, for only the stupid believe global change to be anthropogenic in nature and not natural and only the stupid believe there will be no penalty for these mandates.
As a recovering restaurateur, I know the restaurants will not and can not bear the cost of these scrubbers. For many, this additional burden will cause their closure. As for the rest, just like any other form of taxation, the customers will be the ones paying for this political farce not the owners.
It is not global warming that I fear. What I fear, what we all should fear, are arrogant politicians who believe they have the ability to play God with a world they do not understand and the illiterate, ignorant fools who vote for them!
AMEN.
I am guessing that this is some kind of comedy.
Where’ve you been, Professor?
Why just yesterday on John Gambling’s radio show (WABC-NY), he had a report about some group asking “Eco-Concerned Jews” to light one less candle on the menorah from now on. They said that if every Israeli household did this it would eliminate (seven hundred kabillionjillion) pounds of carbon emissions.
No....I’m afraid I’m not joking. It was a real story on a real news talk show.
Regards,
PS: As a smoker, all I can say (again), is...”We toldya so.”
Gabz, you need to have a ping list for the nico-nazis around here for articles such as this.........
Thats all I'm going to say about this...........Jeez this crap P%$$#s me off!!!!!
If it wasn't so damn cold here I'd do the same thing!!!
Right on the money Mys!
Yup.
They pay no attention to articles such as this because they know we are right and the crapola will not stop with tobacco.
Oh, you're no fun. We love firing up the grill in the dead of winter, even been known to do it when there's a mess of snow on the ground :)
11 degrees this morning at 6:30 a.m and 22 right now.
Nothing worse than a person from Virginia who thinks ice fishing is a bass boat with a cooler filled with ice and beer............ LOL!
Honey, I’m not FROM Virginia.............I’m from New York - I CHOSE to live here :)
Sort of like how we should be able to CHOOSE lots of other things.
You take a drive over to West Virginia and somebody asks you where y'all from? Your only answer will be Virginia........
Therefore, you're from Virginia.......LOL!
Honey, it’s a closer drive for me to go back to NYC than to got to West Virginia from the part of VA I live in :)
Up there they think I talk funny, and I haven’t been there is nearly 10 years and didn’t live in VA back then :)
OTOH, my husband knows when I’ve been on the phone with one of my HS friends, he tells me he hears the Brooklyn in me!!!!!
'Green Hanukkia' campaign sparks ire ... "In a campaign that has spread like wildfire across the Internet, a group of Israeli environmentalists is encouraging Jews around the world to light at least one less candle this Hanukka to help the environment."
Thanks for the ping!
