It shows something here that it is Mrs. Clinton that is being caught up in it. That is a first. And it is NPR and CNN that are doing this to her.

I hope the campaign workers tie down all the phones for Hillary’s next visit or they’ll be flying around like a hail storm.

Just in on AOL...

If you've ever had the feeling that campaigns are nothing more than hopelessly-staged photo opportunities, your skin just may be crawling by now. The question that Clinton's handlers (via Ms. Gallo-Chasanoff) asked Hillary?

Q: "As a young person, I'm worried about the long-term effects of global warming. How does your plan combat climate change?"

As a young person? So you see, Team Clinton scoured the audience, and found the demographic they needed for the question. They wanted to talk about global warming, and made sure that the topic would come up.Clinton's response was textbook message-control:

"Well, you should be worried. You know, I find as I travel around Iowa that it's usually young people that ask me about global warming."

The second known infraction of public trust took place last spring, when a man named Geoffrey Mitchell was asked by a different Clinton staff member to see if he'd be willing to ask a question on the Iraq war that contrasted the candidate's position with that of Barack Obama. Mitchell refused, and the staffer went elsewhere.

Whole piece can be seen here

Hillary’s slogan: “The buck stops over there somewhere.”

She didn’t know about Norman Hsu, she never met Peter Paul, planting questions is “news to me”...how can anyone so in the dark about her own campaign hope to be an effective president?

Bush was notorious for carefully screened audiences with planted questions, and it wouldn’t surprise me if most campaigns plant shills when they can.
What I found interesting was the implied “outing” of Mitchell in retaliation:
“They had a previous relationship and were talking before the event and the topic of the senator’s position on Iraq came up and Geoffrey said he had some questions,” Elliethee said. “Chris suggested Geoffrey ask a question.” Mitchell, however, said that he and Hayler did not know each other personally before the event. “I had no previous relationship with him,” said Mitchell. “I knew his name and by name only as someone who worked for Senator Evan Bayh. But we didn’t know each other and I had never met him before this event.”

Taking pains to point out that two men had a “previous relationship” and referring to them both by first names was code, meant to suggest they “knew” each other intimately. Clever bit of character assassination to get even with Mitchell for not cooperating and then blabbing.

Being the smartest women in the world still has it’s limit, lke being able to keep track of all the lies you have told all your lifeime.

Telling the truth is the best way of not geting caught in a lie.

I think that this is true BUT she lied about it...that’s the point...take responsibilty...Say, I wanted that question asked because it is very important....and go from there but NO she has to lie about it.
