Why don’t you support abortion? What if God commanded it, would you support it then?

Rudy is not the lesser of two evils.

He’s just as bad of a slightly different variety.

The ONLY real difference between Rooty and Hitlery is that he is more comfortable wearing a dress.

"Being "unmovable" with principles, when doing so does far more harm than good in the long term for your cause is silly. If Hillary..."

See, you are talking about Hillary, I am talking about conservatism. The long term goal for my cause is to not allow liberalism to creep into the movement and water down and dumb down and ruin it by changing the most basic plank(S!) in its platform, the most basic of all human rights, the right to life.

You just don't get it. Millions of us have no choice in the matter by conscience.
I fear God more than I fear Hillary.
I can't and won't vote for someone who does not represent my core principles, let alone someone who runs exactly opposite of them. Rudy is my enemy.
The fault of the aftermath lies with those who voted for him and supported him, and those of you who are advancing the failed notion that he is somehow an acceptable choice.
I will not accept any blame because of the very advance warning of my demographics clear intentions.

Any Pub absolutely cannot get elected without the support of the religious right period. We will be represented or else. The GOP ignores us at their own peril. Rudy is a failed gambit.

"...is elected, and she gets to pick two or three Supreme Court justices, how long do you think it will be before any meaning effort will be done to overturn Roe v. Wade. Without this, there is nothing the pro-life movement can do to overturn abortion."

Tough crap. Not my fault jackasses let the party get hijacked by the enemy.

"If you were so concerned with your principle and would do anything to see it achieved,"

Isn't that a little like saying "I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize"?

"If your principles are that important, do something to actually see them realized, not pointless sitting out of an election if your candidate doesn't make it. That accomplishes nothing."

I'm not sitting out, I just won't vote for Rudy come hell or high water.

If God commanded it I would have to but he would have to tell me himself.

The author makes lots of predictions based on what? The likelihood of another 1994 Republican revolution is slim because that sea-change was the Gingrich revolution and we have no new Newt's on the horizon. Furthermore, the media has made itself less accessible than it was 15 years ago and would never allow a budding conservative leader to do anything but self-destruct.

My predictions are more accurate--Hillary wins and we get higher taxes, same old war but now she's in charge and the media makes "victory" hers, public financing for abortion as part of a totally socialized healthcare program, more Chinese infiltration of our economy, clones from Asia, stem-cell research with unlimited federal funding, more environmental controls, a national push for gay marriage, and a White House wedding for Chelsea which puts her in the history books.

This sounds an awful lot like hate speech of the Fred Phelps or KKK variety. Is that you Fred?

I must admit, it's surprising that you would be supporting Rooty Toot, you sound more like one of the Paulites.

Oh please. Come on man, Fred Phelps claims our soldiers die because of homosexuals. I would say the ills of this country, and fighting in Iraq is good for America and the world, are because of preachers who don't preach the gospel of Jesus but rail on homosexuals and teach the Law of Moses.

Stand up for yourself instead of calling Mr. Robinson or the Moderators. I have said nothing wrong except offending your sensibilities.

What happens when God tells other people to kill?

When has the the idiotic lesser-of-two-evil strategy ever worked? All it does is advance liberalism and move the Republican party to the left.

No conservative President until 2016. No chance of taking back Congress for a decade. And, liberal legislation pushed through by a liberal Republican with no resistance.

Dumb, dumb, dumb...

If God tells you to kill you better be sure its God. You still may get the chair but at least you will go to heaven.

No, you indeed have a choice. Remember render unto Caesar that which is Caesars? You live here in the world. You have to realize that standing on principle without doing something to see those principles realized does nothing other than show you have a "holier than thou" attitude in that you are unconcerned with anyone but yourself.

Rudy is my enemy.

Rudy may be many things, but if he is your enemy than you have problems understanding how the world works.

Tough crap. Not my fault jackasses let the party get hijacked by the enemy.

Ah, the whole is everyone else's fault. Maybe is social conservatives hadn't pissed off large segments of Republican voters you wouldn't be in this situation.

I'm not sitting out, I just won't vote for Rudy come hell or high water.

And the difference is?

I am not responsible because I do not have a guilty conscience.

Be careful.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (1 Timothy 4:1-2 KJV)

Excellent verse.

Christians don't get to run away from the Holy Spirit on the matter of murdering babies.

We’ve had “pro-life” Presidents like Nixon who gave us liberal Justice Blackmun, Reagan who gave us Sandra Day O’Conner, and George HW Bush, who gave us ultra liberal Souter. Even GWB tried to give us the pro-choice Harriet Myers on the Court.

I would prefer a strong leader like Giuliani who has promised more appointments like Scalia, Roberts, and Alito.

Worst case scenario: Hillary wins and we get a liberal Democrat House , Senate, President and Supreme Court. I think that might persuade a few people to get out and vote.

To teach the law of Moses departs from the faith. Hypocrisy is telling someone to follow the Ten but ignoring the hundreds of other laws and not following the Ten yourself i.e. Honor the Sabbath Day.

Who gets to decide that God now only cares about the Ten and not the other laws. If you really followed the Law correctly every living person would have to be killed according to the consequences of breaking the Law.

Jesus said that if you offend in one, you offend in all so if you do not Murder but you do not keep the Sabbath you in essence may as well committed murder because God judges them the same. Those are not my words.

Have you ever read that "whatever is not faith is sin?" To convert someone to Jesus by the teaching of faith, which is how most of us came to know Jesus, and then telling the converted to follow the Ten makes them 2 fold the child of hell that you are (Jesus's words).

The Ten is not faith, Hebrews says that Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen." If you follow the Ten your righteousness is of you. You accomplish it. You must, as a Christian put on a cloak of righteousness which is faith in the resurrected power of Jesus, because your righteousness is filthy rags. Remember the parable of the King who sent for his friends to come to the wedding and no one came?( The King is the Father and the bridegroom is Jesus.)

The King then sent his servants into the streets to bring in people off the streets for the wedding.(Those people are the Gentiles, you and I).

When one of the guest showed up without a wedding garment ( cloak of righteousness by faith) he was cast into outer darkness.

God gave the Jews the whole Law. It was given because of rebellion. The Jews tried to follow the Law but failed, as was its purpose. Christians now decided that they would take only the Ten and follow them, did anyone confirm with God that the hundreds of others were no longer applicable to us.

Think about it. If your state has 500 laws on the books, do you pick out the ten most prominent in your eyes and only follow them? That is why the law does not apply to us because by faith we attain righteousness, not by our works, but it is the gift of God.
