Thank you!!!
That’s pretty amazing, they’ve managed to rebuild half the homes already. At noon they were saying a thousand. I’ve got 275 in the pool, myself.
Well....I never would have thought to look at that....
I’m listening to SignOnRadio. http://www.signonsandiego.com/signonradio/index.html
This whole thing is just unreal. I used to live in SD and have family in Lakeside and La Mesa, as well as a friend in Bonita.
(I didn't know how to post the image)
There was too much food at the Q. Nearby stores, Costco, Ralphs, restaurants,SD residents—all donating food and water. One news station showeed a guy going back to his spot in Qualcomm Parking lot with five boxes of pizza!
Sorry I can’t help you out with Running Springs. I haven’t looked that one up. SO many fires!
Hope you are safe!
Would that be the same ‘coveted DC10’ that flew into a tree a few months ago when it couldn’t handle low level turbulence the way the smaller do?
lol.. I been looking for decent maps all over..
Yes, t’s the same DC10..
Wow! Lots of folks down there sleeping in strange beds 2nite
from your map: “The fire had grown to 3,000 acres by 5 p.m., and 14,000 acres by 8 p.m.” (Harris Fire—11000 acres in 3 hours).
Qualcomm Stadium reports 2,500 evacuees. Many cars still arriving. Pet area is available and PETCO is sending a full semi in the morning.
Fresh/perishable human food is not required.
30,000 customers in San Diego county are without power.
Live feed,

I think those are evacuation centers....Red Cross etc....
I justed posted the maps for Running Springs and Lake Arrowhead fires. They are the Slide and Grass Valley and fires
USFS is asking that anyone remaining in GReen Valley LAke to leave now all fire crews of pulled out of GVL and they will not respond to any calls for help
maybe some freepers will show up w/out housing tomorrow...they are saying 350,000 evacuated in San Diego County now
Arrowhead?
WOW! That is very helpful.
I am ready to sign off for the night. It looks like it will be a stormy night with possible tornadoes. I don’t ever remember having tornadoes in October. It is also one night I won’t complain about the weather either.
I remember a wild plane ride in a DC-10 over Chicago going thru a thunderstorm....scary!
