Why shouldn’t we say we will not support Rudy the liberal. I will not vote for President if he is the nominee. He has way too many negatives.

hang on! I need to grab the popcorn...the name-calling begins. This is where it becomes entertaining.
By the way, it's terrific to see and read a little sanity. Great posts..

I will have lost along with him just as you would have lost along with Trudy. But I didnt have to trade my principles, my ethics, my morals or my beliefs. No, you wouldn't. You would have helped in a back handed way elect Hillary, a woman that no doubt violates all of your principles. You're merely deluding yourself that it's otherwise.

Secondly, this conservative will support whomever the Republican nominee is, because this country CANNOT afford another 8 years of a Clinton presidency, and make no mistake, that is what we will have.
Anyone who would support a socialist like Giuliani is not a conservative.
I believe that Conservatives ALWAYS place their country above themselves. Conservatives are principled, not selfish.
Unfortunately the GOP has not practiced what you preach. They have preferred over the years to appease the socialist Democrats by replacing core conservative values with socialism at the expense of what once was its conservative base.
that TRUE Conservatives will recognize that while Rudy, or Fred, or Mitt or McCain may not be their ideal candidate, agreeing with someone 50% is better than agreeing with them not at all, and will vote to protect our country.
That is a cop out. Settling for some socialism only begets more socialism as evident with the current GOP leaders.
Fourthly, by purpose or design, allowing Hillary Clinton to become POTUS, is despicable and a slap in the face of those in uniform who serve our country.
It is a slap in the face of Americans by pretending to be strong on the WOT while at the same time granting amnesty to illegal aliens, any number of which are terrorists.
Hillary is unprincipled, you will agree. She serves at the whim of the psychiatric wing of the Democrat party, as represented by Pete Stark, John Murtha, Ted Kennedy and Dick Durbin.
Anyone who attempts to pass himself or herself of as a conservative while accepting socialist positions has no principles.
It has nothing to do with "principles" and everything to do with intransigence, selfishness, and irresponsibility.
This is the prevailing attitude of the GOP and precisely the type of thinking that ignoring the importance of maintaining one's principles that has seen the Republican party align itself with the socialist left. The GOP has sacrificed its principles in the hope of including everyone regardless of political ideology in order to expand its base all for the sake of winning.
Hillary Clinton and her cabal of Leftists will harm my country.
That is true of any socialist, including Rudy Giuliani.

All I can tell you is good luck. If Rudy is the annoited nominee, don’t hold you breath. You best count on those that no one can count on to turn out. You won’t even be able to count on your own party to turn out.
Hell of a deal. A losing one, at that.

As defined by Man50D. Here endeth the lesson.
Don't need to read anything further. The first comment is silly enough.

Rudy Giuliani Quote (NY Post, 1996) "Most of Clinton's policies are very similar to most of mine." And Bush said lots of nice things about Bill Clinton when they hung that painting of him in the WH.
You believe Hillary would have cleaned up 42nd street? Do you?

Neither are socialists, but Hillary is a communist (and hides it well).
Label them what you want but the bottom line is they share the same political ideology.

I think the Republican party will be remaining the stupid party for decades.

You people amaze me. You will gladly cut off your nose to spite your face.
Its amazing you fail to recognize the obvious fact the GOP has been doing this to itself for years by abandoning its core conservative values.
Rudy has his faults but I will gladly take him over Hillary Clinton.
Those "faults" you refer to is a poor attempt to put a politically correct spin on the fact he is a socialist. He will only bring inflict more socialism on the White House if he wins the election.

Label them what you want but the bottom line is they share the same political ideology. No. They don't.
But you can keep on saying that all you want. People will follow the one who says something the loudest and most often, even if they're completely wrong.

How about dedicating some of that outrage to fighting Hillary? Give me an acceptable, conservative nominee and you will see just that.
But, when it ends up being an adulterous, liberal Republican flip-flopper vs. the wife of a Democratic version of the same thing, the election ceases to be about right or wrong or conservative vs. liberal anymore.

Well, I agree with Mr. Robinson. No liberal will get my vote. All I know is that when Rudy was the Mayor, the NYTimes and the glitterati from the upper west side hated his guts.
Any enemy of them is a friend of mine, and Mr. Robinson will have a hard time convincing me otherwise.
