I have been window washing and am having Thanksgiving here..I need to make a list of things I can do early that will last so I can do the last minute things easier! Your plate is full!..a wedding,too!
Yes about the wedding! I told my kids recently that I had a hard time last year just getting ready for Christmas and now I have to have a wedding at the start of December. I am not as young as I used to be.(and the work gets harder)!
Pace yourself..a little every day..I am older and understand the problem.
My kids help with the cooking..Last year my daughter in law made the turkey ,dressing and gravy and brought it! Love my daughter in law!
I saved my grocery list and preparation “timing” for the rest on the computer for this year’s Thanksgiving meal.
Isn’t that funny? I keep my Thanksgiving and Christmas Menu’s in my kitchen drawer, under the silverware tray. I get it out each year and do my list after I get the recipes out for some of the casseroles. I have done that quite a few years and it sure does make it easier for me.
I do not have a daughter in law who brings the turkey! If anyone would bring one, it would be one of the sons! My youngest son does like to fry us a turkey in that deep fat fryer outside. (They make me nervous, I think they are scary!) All that hot oil cooking on top of the gas burner, whoa~~~~The turkeys are delicious though!
Meg, is Majie sick....haven’t seen her much lately and I have worried about her!
My computer is like an art studio, only not as messy, because there are no paint brushes to clean, or paints to put away. :)

I was testing the children
in my Sunday school class
to see if they understood the concept
of getting to heaven.
I asked them, “If I sold my house and my car,
had a big garage sale
and gave all my money
to the church,
Would that get me into Heaven?”
“NO!” the children answered.
“If I cleaned the church every day,
mowed the yard,
and kept everything neat and tidy,
would that get me into Heaven?”
Again, the answer was, “NO!”
By now I was starting to smile.
Hey, this was fun!
“Well, then, if I was kind to animals
and gave candy
to all the children,
and loved my husband,
would that get me into Heaven?”
I asked them again.
Again, they a ll answered, “NO!”
I was just bursting with pride for them.
“Well,” I continued, “then how can I get into Heaven?”
A five-year-old boy shouted out,
“YOU GOTTA BE DEAD .”
