Good evening! The catz are fighting over the food bowl again. They were allies until I put the food in, both following me around calling me a cat-starving liberal lawyer. But as soon as the nibble hit the bowl, it was every kitty for herself.
Shannon was faster, so Wednesday had to wait. Major complaints!
Poor Wednesday....
I always have the food out in separate bowls in separate parts of the patio before I let the dogz in. Candy, the elder, always gets to the door first and gets first choice. Sometimes she hits the door and goes left, sometimes she goes to the right. I don’t know how she makes her choice. Sugar, the youte, is just happy to get inside.
Suggestion:
Two bowls.
We’re considering that, but Wednesday has a weight problem, and we’re concerned that she’d end up with more food than is good for her.
Maybe feeding Shannon extra while Wedneday is hiding under a bed will be the answer.
well, last post. catz ate it all. rottweilers are barking.
sigh all around.

And epople are upset that I don’t think Kid Rock is a true American hero. (Don’t get too close, dear, he’s got Germs!) Egad! I though conservatives were supposed to have some relationship, however distant, to reasonability!
Is there a nice Spanish-speaking country that doesn’t have a murderous dictatorship or whopper cockroaches?
Do you feed dry or wet food?
Dry food. From the health food store, first ingredient is chicken.
They both just turned up griping around my ankles. I guess I need to give them a little more food, or we’ll be dragged out of bed at 3 a.m.!
Hungry pets make great alarms....like clock work my dogz start bouncing off the bed around 6am if we aren’t already up. Kind of a pain on sleep in days.
I guess with a growing kitty, you need to feed more than a full grown cat. I have measuring cups just for feeding so I know exactly how much food I’m giving them. Both dogz have bad knees, so I can’t exercise them much....we have to be careful not to overfeed them and let their weight get up—it makes their knee problems worse.
*NnB scratches head*
Um, Spain?
What....no cockroaches in Spain?
Good Night!
Good morning, gents. Spain has some good points, but it’s in Yurp, you know.
Catz are frolicking this morning. They turned up around 6:00, and I heard them arguing over who was going to wake us up to fill their bowl.
Well, you asked. Not to belabor the point, but most Spanish-speaking countries are on at least another continent.
Did you expect to drive to your preferential location?
Another good idea bites the dust ...
Supposed to be in the 90’s here today. I need to run before it gets too hot!
I need to run, too, but actually I’ll walk.
Out to the car ...
Morning!
Catz got you down? I enjoy hearing about them. It’s always interesting to introduce a new cat to the Queen... ;o]
The catz are fine today. Wednesday is moving around more, since Shannon finds her and pokes her :-).
It was too hot to run, but I did anyway. Now I really need a shower.
Folks here run in the heat of summer, but it’s not humid here at all, so most of them get away with it.
Newcomers take a while to adjust, though. The sun and wind can suck the moisture right out of your body without you even knowing it.
My husband said they had to shut down the Chicago Marathon yesterday, because it was too hot. The winners were already done, but lots of people weren’t allowed to finish. I hope they gave them their money back!
One runner died.
