I saw that, but it didn’t make the list of finalists.

Have you been to Egypt?

Never. My trip to Cairo for a meeting in 6 weeks was approved last June, but with my job change it now has to be approved by someone else.

I’m not quite sure I do. Getting there is looking pretty brutal — though it would be an interesting experience!

I always look at trips as a chance to see thing differently, and promise myself not to take any prejudgements with me.

New York was never on my list of places to see, but when I had the opportunity, I went with an open mind. It was a lot of fun, that way.

Of course, I seldom have travel horror stories, so I’ve managed to look at trips optimistically.

Egypt has always been in the top five on my list...;o]

Wednesday has decided it’s not that bad, since she was annoyed about her life anyway. She threw up a hairball, though.

James is very excited; he keeps saying, “Can I fuzzy that kitten?”

My mother and her friends visited Israel and Egypt about 10 years ago. They enjoyed it, especially the Nile cruise.

I always give C&H a little vaseline when I clip their claws. (Usually once a week.) I just smear it on their forelegs and they lick it off.

It helps to pass the hairballs without all the mess and carpet stain.

LOL! I like that...”fuzzy that kitten!”

James is quite a threat to a little kitten. Wednesday has no trouble driving him away! She threw up on the vinyl floor in the bathroom, so it wasn’t a big deal.

I wish it would rain - we’ve all been very sneezy today!

We’re having a perfect C of C day here. Some puffy clouds, no breeze, and 89 at the moment.

But since maintenance is mowing the grass, I’ve had to shut my windows. *ick*

Bill mowed our grass. The Weather Channel says we might get some rain mid-week. We have to keep the front tidy because the people next door have their house for sale. The husband had to report to D.C. to his new job this week, so the wife is trying to get ready to move, get the house sold, and take care of a year-old baby. My kids have been over there “helping” a few times, although I’m not sure they contribute anything but lively company.

Well, it’s almost supper time and we’ve misplaced the girls again. I’d better off a reward!

Yeah, I almost nailed that 12:34:56!

I think I got an earworm for my efforts though.

My last totally odd moment was on November 19th, 1999, at eleven fifty-nine and fifty-nine seconds.

11:59:59 on 11/19/1999.

Since then, I’ve had moments of course, but none quite as odd as that.

11:59:59 on 11/19/1999.

That’s not completely odd....there’s an even number of each digit. Even the punctuation is even.

There’s a Platonic ideal of Oddness, Bob, and you haven’t quite reached it.

I'd like to have a tee shirt that says ...
Don't call me odd!
... I'll get even!

"There’s a Platonic ideal of Oddness, Bob, and you haven’t quite reached it."

Probably because I haven't been trying to reach it.

Just naturally gravitating ...

I don’t think it’s truly Ideal if you’re *trying*. It has to be natural!
