I thought we were playing cribbage.

I’m feeling short and fat myself. Tomorrow morning, I’ll get on the scale and see how true it is.

I thought we were playing cribbage.

Oh, OK. I have 19. Your turn.

Who do you want to play in the show? Dorothy? The scarecrow? The Wizard?

I’ll have to think about it.

Who dealt this hand, anyway? I only have a pair of twos.

I dealt, since it’s my crib, so, throw them into the crib. ;-)

Has Anoreth decided how she is going to spend her $100?

Wednesday has forgiven you for bringing an intruder into her domain, then? Maybe she has Alzheimer’s...my old cat, PV, sulked for six months!

I seem to recall you mentioning house-sitting. Still, I suspect prices will be even better by the time you’re ready to look for a place to buy.

*sheesh*

Now that Igor is dead, I forgot how to play Cribbage. I beat him once, and he never forgave me.

I hope so. We are aiming for 4+ bedrooms, 2+ bath, 2500+ sq/ft, 3 or more car garage, on 2-10 acres within a 1/2 hour of Minnetonka, MN. For under $300k...

An older home would be nice too... Zon likes the architecture on the pre-WWII homes.

I don’t play much any more. Der Prinz doesn’t play, and I don’t see Dad very often. “The Villages,” where my parents live in Florida, has a Cribbage Club. I’ll start playing again when I retire!

Anoreth just bought a CD at Wal-mart. She’s saving most of her money for the Renaissance Festival.

I think Wednesday just wanted to let me know the bowl was empty again. She seems to have decided that she doesn’t dislike Shannon any more than she dislikes the rest of us.

So you're planning to have several more children?

That sounds really good! Have you been checking things out? Or are you just going to wait?

Two-to-ten acres will give the kids lots of growing room, and that will be good for all of you. You’d even have room for your forge!

I like older homes, too, as they seem to have “personality.” Or something.

You’ll have to keep us posted on what you find.

(I’m so happy that you’re working again!!)

Me and the two kids. ;-) Plus a home office, craft/drafting room for Zon, forge, workshop, possibly horses...

Once I beat Igor at any game, it was the last time he would play it with me. So I learned how to win!

I’d save money for the RF, too! We had one this year, but I didn’t know about it in time to do anything. Besides: My daughter was recovering from surgery.

Wednesday is SUCH a cat! LOL!

We've been doing what amounts to a market survey. We are finding homes, just nothing that makes us go "Ooohhh... Me Want!"

The size forge I've got right now I could run out of a closet, assuming proper ventilation. ;-) But yeah, we want a medium sized lot as it'll help assure that the neighbors aren't || THAT close.

You could find what you want here for the price you’re looking for. Our house isn’t that big, and the lot would fit in your 3-car garage :-).

Ah, here’s Vlad, insisting that he’ll cry if I don’t go make pizza. He very kindly lets us know when he’s planning to cry, instead of just doing it; saves us all some aggravation.

One good thing about MN....you don’t have to have close neighbors unless you want them.

When the time is right, “your” house will hit the market!

PV was that way, too.

When we had company, he was totally oblivious unless someone was a cat-hater. Somehow, PV had RADAR for just that thing, and he would sit at the hater’s feet and groom himself. Then, when they had relaxed about him rubbing up against them, he would float onto their laps and settle in.

He was SUCH a snob! But he was so much fun!

Wednesday doesn’t like to sit on the furniture, unless nobody’s home. She likes us to have to bend over to pet her (briefly, before she decides to bite.)
