Spitzer Policy Will Let Illegal Immigrants Get Driver's Licenses

I think the Feds will like this method...they merely review the new license registrations and drive up to the address to arrest the illegal. We can probably clean out New York in 60 days.

At this point...I’d say that the voting system in the US is now completely unreliable...with almost anyone registering to vote.

In the article linked on Drudge, Spitzer slipped up and let out an interesting truth:

We're changing our policy with respect to getting more people out of shadows and into the system so people don't hide they're here," Spitzer said.

He said the current restrictions on non-citizens have filled the roads with unlicensed drivers five times more likely to get into accidents.

Five times more likely to get into accidents!!??? I guess he is assuming that the process of getting a driver's license will transform all of these illegals into excellent drivers. The same people who enter the country illegally and have no problem with violating the law every time they drive a car now will magically become at least as good at driving as the average person on the road. I guess all the illegals on the most wanted lists in California and elsewhere would become law-abiding citizens if they only had green cards.

If you'd bothered paying attention to the activities of the 19 direct participants you would have discovered many of them were doing jobs ~ like driving cabs.

Many of them had jobs? Like driving cabs? I admit I haven't payed that much attention, but you seem to have just proved my point for me.

It sure is, and all conservatives from NYS should write editor’s letters about Spitzer, particularly before his next election.

I wrote an editor’s letter before the gubernatorial election, but maybe if a LOT of us write them, it will make a difference.
