Islam believes Abraham is the father of their religion as well. Their pseudoreligion’s basis is based on both Jewish and Christian texts (the two peoples he called “The People of the Book” (i.e., the Bible, or in the case of the Jews, the Old Testament, and the Christians, both the Old and New Testaments)combined with his mumbo-jumbo and Semitic tribal beliefs. Some of the practices of the muslims, i.e., forbidden to eat pork, able to divorce on a simple decree, ritual washings before prayer, etc. are directly taken from the Jewish faith. Muslims will not normally ever say that this is true, but it’s obvious upon review. You can research it yourself, there are several websites that analyze this matter.
If you were to dig deeper, you would discover that some of their teachings were based off the old testament.
Plus, they look at Jesus as a prophet and not the son of God.
