Just a friendly tip...

You can increase your credibility in future posts by not responding to and quoting a dead and gone troll zotted because of just these sort of quotes.

Here is how the word from the Vatican is received...

.................................

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Pro-life groups in the United States and the family of Terri Schiavo enthusiastically received a new Vatican document saying physicians have an obligation to provide comatose patients with food and water. The document provides guidelines for making sure patients like Terri receive appropriate treatment.

In comments to LifeNews.com, Terri's father Bob Schindler said he appreciated the Catholic Church backing the obligation to feed and hydrate those persons deemed to be in a "vegetative" or even comatose state.

He said the Schindler family hopes those who administer Catholic health care and Catholic clergy and laity "who persistently ignored the basic right to life of our daughter and sister Terri ... will begin to open their eyes and hearts to the immutable and incontrovertible truth reaffirmed by the Holy See."

"We find it sad that many of those who claim to speak on behalf of the betterment of society and concern for the poor were against Terri and our efforts to care for her," he explained.

Fr. Frank Pavone, the director of Priests for Life who prayed with Terri and her family shortly before her death, said the statement appeared to perfectly address Terri's situation and those of patients like her.

"Her autopsy said that she died of dehydration. She did not die from natural causes or from any illness. She was killed," Pavone told LifeNews.com.

"Let's not confuse Terri's case with the legitimate withdrawal of medical treatment. While there is such a thing as a worthless treatment, there is never such a thing as a worthless life," he added.......................

Faith2Action, Janet Folger on WND...

...........................................

Last night, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Rep. Tom Tancredo, businessman John Cox, Sen. Sam Brownback, Rep. Ron Paul, Rep. Duncan Hunter and Ambassador Alan Keyes (in the order of their random podium placement) faced 53 questions from pro-family leaders at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

I'm writing this on Monday before the event, but I want to be on record with five predictions.

  1. I predict the Values Voter Straw Poll will unify the pro-family movement and determine the nominee. Unlike other straw polls that are flawed by design, where candidates have bussed in supporters or paid for their tickets, more than 600 delegates to the Values Voter Debate Straw Poll were submitted by 40 national leaders to accurately represent America's largest voting block.

  2. I predict the "Values Voter Guide" DVD will saturate the nation and make the largest voting block even larger.

  3. I predict that the candidates who chose not to attend will regret the decision to snub us because they will not win without us.

  4. I predict that there will be a Values Voter Presidential Debate in every presidential election from this point forward.

  5. For too long values voters have been pushed to the back of the bus; last night they moved into the driver's seat.

16. Terri's Fight, Bobby Schindler – END OF LIFE

My name is Bobby Schindler. My beloved sister Terri Schiavo was starved and dehydrated to death in the land of abundance while the world watched – because she was disabled and unable to speak for herself. Would you pursue or support legislation that would protect the cognitively disabled and vulnerable people from being dehydrated to death by having their food and water taken away?

We still see articles pushing Living Wills. Anyone considering it should review our many threads and posts first. There are other paths such as the "Will to Live".

And they may ask rhetorically if a Living Will would have helped Terri.

Nevertheless, just say'n...

The much-publicized Terri Schiavo case hammered home the need for a living will to ensure that a person's end-of-life preferences, whatever they might be, are carried out.

You can probably jump-start this process on your own, says Bishop.

Advance directives, as they are known, can make your preferences known about medical care and spare your loved ones the stress of making decisions if you are ill. A living will describes the type of treatments you would or would not want if you were terminally ill.

Lawyer up...Living Wills

A story in the St. Pete Times: In all fairness although they seem to side with our adversaries, they do balance some. Case in point; I was interviewed at length during Terri's last days by one of their reporters. It was fair and reasonable and actually quite pleasant. I got to say what I wanted and it was well received. The interview didn't get printed, but yet, it was nice.

Felty lay unconscious with tubes in his body, reminding his mother of Terri Schiavo.

Doctors determined he suffered a traumatic brain injury, contusions of the frontal lobe and bruising of the brain stem, she said.

He opened his eyes in mid August but did not speak, she said. He just stared.

Then, on Aug. 16, Ginny Felty came to visit Corey. There was a blanket falling off his legs.

"Do you want me to put it on?" she asked.

To her surprise, he said, "Yes."

"I started crying," she said. "It was a miracle."

When he awoke, "everything hurt," he said. "When I was in a coma, I had a dream that I was in the Keys, fishing."

A long way down, and back

This is a Gay sponsored event honoring their heroes, with their champion, Bill Clinton. Click link to see a caption-worthy Bill Clinton. What can I say?? Anyone surprised which side they take regarding Terri?

National Gay and Lesbian Task Force to honor Jerry Chasen, Leonard Pitts Jr. and U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz at 11th Annual Miami Recognition Dinner

~Snip~

Wasserman Schultz has always been a vocal advocate for equality, as illustrated by her role as co-sponsor of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. A participant in Fort Lauderdale’s 2007 Stonewall Street Festival, she said, “We want to make sure that people understand it doesn’t matter whether you’re gay or straight, we should all stand for tolerance and diversity and understanding. It doesn’t matter whether it’s the civil rights of the gay community, African-American community or the Hispanic community. You can never rest when it comes to promoting and standing up for civil rights.”

Her first term in Congress was marked with notable success for a freshman minority member. She was one of the key leaders in the Terri Schiavo debate, challenging President Bush and arguing forcefully that Congress would set a dangerous precedent if the legislative branch attempted to circumvent previous court decisions. She passed a resolution calling on the president to declare a Jewish American Heritage Month, along with several key amendments to legislation protecting children from sexual predators and protecting women and children from legislation that would have outlawed warning labels on food containing high levels of mercury.

Back to the Value Voters debate...

Once candidates identify themselves as globalists, annointed by the elites, it is a fairly certain prediction how they fall out on issues like Terri's Legacy and related pro-life issues. They are defined solidly and will not flex out of it.

.................................

The biggest GOP names - Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, John McCain and Fred Thompson - all sat out the Values Voter Presidential Debate, citing scheduling conflicts.

Giuliani, Romney and McCain were all asked about decisions questioners said favored abortion and gay rights. All, of course, went unanswered.

In attendance at the three-hour-long debate were former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas, Chicago businessman John Cox, Maryland conservative Alan Keyes and U.S. Reps. Ron Paul of Texas, Tom Tancredo of Colorado and Duncan Hunter of California.

Federal Judge Says that Planned Parenthood Emergency Injunction to Evade Building Permit Investigation is without Merit

Contact: Eric Scheidler, Pro-Life Action League, 773-251-8792; Tom Ciesielka, TC Public Relations, 312-422-1333, 312-403-1333 cell, tc@tcpr.net<

AURORA, Ill., Sept. 17 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Today's court action demonstrates that truth still matters in America. This is exactly what we've been praying for these past 40 days, that Planned Parenthood would not open on September 18," said Eric Scheidler, Pro-Life Action League, "We trust that the judge will allow Aurora to fully investigate how Planned Parenthood tried to come into town without disclosing who they were and their plans to perform abortions. Planned Parenthood had 13 appointments scheduled for Tuesday's opening. If God's answer spared 13 innocent lives, then we give the Lord the praise for the delay and the ultimate permanent closing of this abortion mill."

Pat Mahoney is a courageous, tireless, selfless, and eloquent advocate for us who are pro-life. I have fond memories of seeing his passion in action in Pinellas Park and helping him on behalf of Terri. May Our Lord be with him every step of the way into this valley of darkness...

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- There are 10 months until the Democratic national convention next year in Denver, Colorado, but pro-life advocates are already making preparations for massive demonstrations there. They complain that not only is the party officially pro-abortion but none of the candidates seeking its presidential nod are pro-life.

Several pro-life advocates planned to appear at the Pepsi Center in downtown Denver on Tuesday to discuss their plans for rallies and protests during the event.

Rev. Patrick Mahoney, the head of the Christian Defense Coalition, said pro-life advocates will be coming from across America "to expose the radical pro-abortion policies of the Democratic Party and to pray for and end to the war on America's women and children through abortion."

It's Rudy Tuesday again! Thread by wagglebee...

Sometimes (more often than I care to admit), something has to be seen to be believed. You actually must read/see something with your own two eyes to figure out how in the world anyone could possibly believe what was just said.

Enter "Anti-Roe and Pro-Rudy," a mind-bending op-ed that runs in today's New York Times. The author, Eric Johnston, says he is a "fervent pro-lifer," and since we don't know him, we take him at his word.

Johnston supports pro-abortion Rudy Giuliani: "I think Mr. Giuliani will be the most effective advocate for the pro-life cause precisely because he is unreligious and a supporter of abortion rights."

Fred Thompson "can't seem to remember TERRI SCHIAVO?" Do we want an ignorant president? I had no idea he had no idea about Terri. And, he's visited the PINELLAS REPUBLICAN PARTY ALREADY so he's been brainwashed by them. Remember when they used to hang up on me for calling to say that I supported JEB BUSH's helping Terri? Jeb Bush had no authority over in TAMPA BAY. The ACLU and George Felos RAN CLEARWATER, not Judge George Greer who was their PAWN.

My gosh, Terri's right to life went on for fifteen years. The state tried to kill her four times, the fourth was her MURDER. She was all over the news in 2003, 2004, 2005 and continuing. Does Thompson not read or watch the news? Sorry, but Fred T. is too aloof and out of touch for me.

Maybe he found out who really killed Terri and he has to stay out of it cuz they are behind his campaign. That's what I think.

All I can say is I'm glad Alberto Gonzalez is gone. The WORST thing he did was cancel Terri's helicopter out of her. Mark Reynolds, USCG CANCELLED. Thanks, Al.
