What's next, getting a DUI in your own house? If your car's in the living room and you're passed out drunk behind the wheel with the motor running and your foot on the gas, probably.

There have been Amish in buggies while intoxicated. When the man falls to the side, the horse responds to the tug of the reins. The last time it happended, the horse and buggy went into on-coming traffic, and a milk truck crashed and so did a car. The horse continued on with the passed out driver.

BINGO!! This is why the state could care less about illegal drunks...no percentage in busting THEM!!A taxpayer is far better game.No percentage in busting them...no money in busting them.
DWI, DUI, whatever, is the biggest money maker in the law enforcement business.
Wehave heard of MADD, we have heard of DAMM (Drunks against Mad Mothers). Here is another DAMM.

In California you can be arrested for DUI on your private property. If you are repairing your car and have a few beers and then get behind the wheel and drive the vehicle in and out of the garage, but never onto the public sidewalk or street,or just have the keys in the ignition, you can still be arrested. I know several guys that had this unfortunate situation. The law on DUI does not distinguish that the offense must occur on public property. Can you say “government gone crazy”
