Someone has been slacking on keyword defacement. They got “paulestinians” and “cocktailsauce” but not “asseenonstormfront” or “paulberers”.

You are NOT gonna let me live that down, are you??

Not in the next five years or so. LOL.

One of karsten's Meetup friends showed up on the other thread. So I'd like to ping and welcome a new Ron Paul supporter, theoreticalgirl.

Not at all ~~ But there likely will be things, maybe small things, that are not published. Like if a President requests bottles of King Louis the 3rd, which is $160 per ounce. I don’t think you’d want to know that your money is going towards the President owning a $1000 bottle of alcohol. Bad example, but all I could come up with.

Not a bad example. It's a great example.

The Presidency is a tough job, and I do hope that the servant whom I hire to perform that Job for me, does a Good Job so as I don't have to fire his butt.

And, yeah, since it's a tough job, I'm okay if he needs $1000-a-bottle Vodka to get into the proper mood. I mean, as long as the rest of the taxpayers are willing to spring for it, I'm okay with that -- it's a tough job, maybe he needs the good vodka to make it through the night. Okay, I can accept that.

But I do want an accounting. It's my money, and I want to know where it;s going.

And you know what else?

If he's not too busy, I'd like the President of the United States to kneel down in front of me, spit on a cloth, and shine my boots.

Doesn't even have to be perfect, just so they look Black and Clean. But if he's not too busy -- yeah, I'd like my boots shined. My servant should do things for me, like that.

Never forget that we live in a Republic. Not a Theocracy, not a Divine-Right Monarchy -- just a Republic of Men. That's it. And never forget that even the highest Politician is beneath your lowest Servant in a Republic of Men.

The highest Politician in any Republic should be willing to kneel down and black your boots for you, as the SERVANT that he is.

You are a Soldier of the Queen.

The Politicians' job is simply to shut up and do the paperwork.
On YOUR Behalf. And that's it.

I don't see the big deal about this. It's already law.

It passed the Senate, and then it passed the House by voice vote.

So it's already law, signed by the President.

Thanks for the daily dose of hyperbole, OP.

Good to know that Ron Paul pledges to abide by an existing law.

Of course, there will always be a black budget, no matter what Congressional loudmouths say.

And thank God for that.

Maybe you two could write to the White House and tell them to comply with this law. Get back to us when you succeed.

Hmmm...I wonder what Bush put into his signing order to neutralize this law.

Of course they comply with the law.

As I said, there will always be black budget items for national security purposes - no Congressional majority has as yet proven stupid enough to compel publication of sensitive military data.
