But there is another issue here. Why did this kid hand in homework with doodles in the first place? Doodles, regardless of the nature, are not for homework. It disrespectful. Kids should have pride in the work they produce. This is the foundation for their life, and work.

I notice this clown isn’t backing down one iota. This is like trying to reason with a jihadi. That’s why I’d like to see these “teachers” in a public court of law explaining EXACTLY how this is a threat. Being sued is about the only thing they would understand. It wouldn’t change their minds, but they’d understand it.
IMO, these are communists passing themselves off as “teachers”, essentially getting into mind control country regarding something as abstract as an idea on paper, and they’re using a phrase like “zero tolerance” to justify their actions.

If you didn’t catch it, the Principal reduced the suspension to 3 days so the Parents could NOT request a hearing. If a suspension is 10 days or more, Parents have the right to request a hearing. Here the Parents thought they were helping their child by getting the suspension reduced to 3 days, in fact, the Principal was covering her tracks so the Parents couldn’t have a hearing which would have made the incident ‘Public’. Wasn’t that nice of that Principal? Here’s the Superintendent’s email address so you can express your dismay directly to Ms. Martin’s boss.
