HaHa! found this comment from Captains Quarters ...
“If Padilla wanted to help al-Qaeda, he should’ve done it the legal way—write about war and terrorism for Newsweek.”

Padilla’s female attorney (interesting he had a woman on the team representing him) was crabbing at the administration on a clip FoxNews showed, and saying that America is NO safer after this verdict. She might as well have had LIBERAL tatooed onto her forehead, she looked like one at first glance. Unfortunately unattractive too, I might add.
Padilla’s mother was crabbing that EVERYBODY in the US just KNEW that her darling son was innocent. Ev-er-y-bo-dy.
Uh-huh, sure lady.

Padilla, Adham Amin Hassoun and Kifah Wael Jayyousi face possible life in prison if convicted of all three charges in the caseIf convicted of "ALL" three charges?
Listen folks. Being convicted of just ONE charge warrants their E~X~E~C~U~T~I~O~N. If it were up to me I'd us their Sharia Law as the authority used to stone them to death.
Anything less is a travesty and a slap in the face to all the taxpaying Americans these pigs want to kill.

There’s a post over at DU asking if people think there will ever be justice...not against Padilla folks...check out the “Jose Padilla so mentally destroyed that he loves Big Brother Bush” discussion board for some incredible comments.

What is there to say to the US Government other then “what took you so long”?—why hold Mr. Padilla for years and say he can’t have a trial then after losing their denial of habeas corpus case in court for so long the US Govt. magically grew a pair of cajones and prosecuted the SOB—and actually won a conviction for once.
What’s being tortured here in all of this is the rule of law, the Constitution and the taxpayer/citizen. Needlessly. Is this the best we can do in prosecuting the war? The weak link seems to be the US Attorney and the Military tribunals. This case perfectly illustrates the stumbling, bumbling, and fumbling thats been going on with the ineffective prosecution of the war.
