Someone sent me an email with pictures that clearly show traffic on the center lanes for part of the bridge. I was trying to find that thread here that had those pictures, but no luck so far.

I got these in an email a few days ago.
I see a lot of stuff, that weighs a lot, on one end of the bridge.
Not that that was the cause, mind you, but weight+vibration = demolition.
and you're right, they had the inside northbound lanes and outside southbound lanes open to traffic.

This last one looks like the business end of a specialized pump truck.
