It’s ridiculous to think Spitzer didn’t know anything.
He is a control think.
Of course he knew.
It was a very short honeymoon for Elliot.
Let’s see how brief his reign is.
But really - in NY State, does it matter who sits in the office?

The New York Post endoresed Spitzer for the election.
Still, they exposed the Spitzer scandal. It if wasn't for them, the story going after Bruno in the Albany Time Dispatch would have parroted itself again and again until Sen Bruno was ruined by Spitzer's Gestapo (and that is an apropos description in this case) tactics.
