????....I just asked him, "Where did you get your "magic underpants". :)
I could only get about half of it but the poor girl was a mess. Nervous, I am sure, someone talking in her ear piece or from off camera. Her first big break and she froze, I probably would have too.
is it the same Merry Miller who is head of the Learning Annex Programming department?

LOL, not you. I just cc’d you because you were previously cc’d.
DUH. I guess sooo.... I see it’s posted above. ;)
I had the same thoughts. I can imagine that it's not so easy to do this kind of work. I have a feeling all people in the entertainment business will admit that in the first year or so of their careers they made some awful mistakes; Sean Hannity had said as much. It's what you do after your mistakes that define what kind of a person you are.
What I said may be hard to hear but there was no malice intended only that Merry Miller who is not here to defend herself needeD someone here to speak up!
If we are going to tie the other person hands for defending what is the right thing to do, we might as well let our nation continue on the road of abuse and rage!
I hear you loud and clear. The irony is that you’re not hearing yourself. You tied your own hands with your own words by criticizing WWTD for criticizing someone else.
Incidentally, if what WWTD wrote makes you feel bad and get all watery eyed, you must have an emotional breakdown over 90% of what is posted on this site. Merry doesn’t need to be here to defend herself. Of the thousands of articles that are posted here, I imagine that very few of the subjects actually get to partake in the commentary. The fact is that Merry conducted an interview that was broadcasted for all to see and (gasp! brace yourself, this might hurt your feelings...) COMMENT ON for better or worse.
Your opinion of Merry is disheartening. Unlike you, I have faith that she can handle herself. Merry is a big girl (don’t take that the wrong way, I’m not making fun of her height or weight). If she were to read what was written here, due to the fact that she has somehow managed to make it on the air, I have confidence in her that she would either take the comments under advisement or leave them alone. She would not get all huffy and puffy about someone pointing at her and laughing. If she did, she really doesn’t need to be doing that particular type of job.
I didn’t really get a laugh from watching Merry’s interview. She looked awkward, uncomfortable, and inexperienced. I was surprised that WWTD thought it was so funny. I recall there was a video with a young guy conducting a sports broadcast- that one was out and out hilarious. Like many of us that are able to cope with emotions, laugh at ourselves, and move on, I can both laugh at and empathize with the guy because I know there have been more than a few times when I put myself in an awkward situation.
As for Merry, I figured that she would either improve or move on. BUT I gotta confess that I got a few chuckles at your hypocrisy. And pointing your crooked finger of blame at comments like WWTDs for our nation being “on the road of abuse and rage!” is riotous. Thanks for the laugh. I look forward to more good times.
that had to be a job interview. no one would actually put her on tv. what market is that? peoria?
evidently she is a harp genius who has morphed into an interviewer??? huh??? i forgot how to link so just cut and paste!
